My BSC address got hacked; Please help me!!!

After publishing my post this morning, I went to check Cubfinance as I always do and I noticed that everything was reading zero.

I have liquidity tokens staked in Cub/BUSD and DEC/BUSD pools, as well as Cake and Cub staked in Kingdoms. Everything is zero.

I thought it was a glitch, and refreshed the page many times but nothing changed.

I checked my metamask and didn't notice any transaction. However, when I used BSC scan, I noticed that there were transactions that weren't done by me.

Please is there anybody that can help me? That's a decent chunk of my life's work. I'm really fucked right now.

Owwwww bro I hope for you it isn't true.

Honestly dont know anything about BSC so cant help you with this but praying it is fixable

any idea what happened?
are you sure you are on the right network and address on your metamask?

I am. I checked BSC scan. I got robbed and can't explain why or how.
I didn't clock any weird link or anything like that.

did you use this address for anything else? you might gave somewhere permissions to interact with it.

another possibility is that you used google to get to pancakeswap and accidently clicked a fake ad :(

Well, that's fucked up... I doubt you will get any of the funds back but if you still have some in the wallet move them to a new one.

Changing every password you may have is also recommended. I would even go as far as wiping the whole PC and reinstalling the OS. Maybe you caught a keylogger without even knowing.

Sorry to hear that man. It really sucks...

Thanks man. I just need to figure out how it happened, so I can take the next step. I'm not going to let this shit destroy me, even though right now man, I feel like shit and just want to die.

I can only imagine... Working for years to accumulate something only to get it stolen by some asshole... That's the risk we all take I guess.

Go through the transactions and your browsing history. Try to remember if you ever shared your keys somewhere, it can even be a chat or private conversation. If you rule that out then a keylogger is probably sitting somewhere on your computer.

Don't take it so hard on you, it's not the end of the world. You can always build back everything. It will take time, but don't think like that.

Jin Sakai wouldn't give up even during his darkest moments. Neither should you my friend.

I also have the same thing, but I'm on "Trust Wallet", my BSC address is doing automatic transactions, some of my tokens are missing and as well as BNB balance, maybe it's the act of the link I followed a few months ago. And maybe now I can no longer trust the BSC address to store or transact there.

I would move the funds to another address and uninstall that wallet completely.
Actually your phone can be involved in this - have you installed any new apps on it recently?

No app, just a link as a hint to stake token,

Which link did you click? Like, what was the link about?

The link leads to the token's own website, but strangely the other tokens on Trust Wallet are not missing, just the Token and Bnb

I still hope that is a glitch.

Keep us posted maybe someone will read your post and be able to help you.

So sorry!

If they have hacked you, nothing you will do about it, you can't retrieve the money back. Sorry for that.

This is terrible man, I'm totally sorry. Are you sure it's not an anomaly, or it was truly hacked

That's so sad! Sorry to hear that. BSC is getting risker by the day. Don't click any links.

EDIT,
Just from reading your previous post on Shitcoins Experiment, I think that's probably how they gained access to your account. From my understanding, on BSC, connecting your wallet to some of this sites when trying to buy can give then access to your wallet. I've heard of it so many times. That's why they send you so many free tokens on BSC to try to get you to connect your wallet as you try to claim.

I maybe wrong, but perhaps start by checking your account access permissions, and also adding restrictions. Revoke or Limit Smart Contracts of your tokens on Ethereum, Binance BSC, Matic/Polygon, ALWAYS!

I bought everything on Binance exchange though

Ah. Honestly don't have any more ideas about what could have happened. Maybe someone had access to your gadgets? sooorryyy

I can think of 1000 ways this could have happened as well. It's why I'm such an advocate of controlling Bitcoin from cold storage.

I have to agree with @elsiekjay here. Even with purchasing on Binance it doesn't mean you never clicked through to a bsc project and approved wallet access without you knowing. To me this seems more likely than someone tracking your key logs or computer screen.

That is so sad, you just have to be very careful with links, I don't know much about bsc wallet but I think you read more about thier securities measures

First step in tech support is always to link your wallet so people can actually see what happened.

Also no one should ever use a hot-wallet in a browser or phone unless it accounts for a small portion of your holdings.

Holding crypto on Metamask installed on Chrome on a Windows machine is a very bad idea. This is easy avoided by spending $50 on a Trezor or Ledger hardware wallet and connecting it to Matamask.

Shit! Sorry, I had no idea. Have you figured out how this happened? That's so scary. Sorry mehn

Wake up man!!! You had really a bad luck experience but try to rebuild your holdings again, you and us have learnt a lesson here.

0

That is crazy what happened, are you using Metamask?
Browsing on BSC from Windows, mobile...? Also if you put the address here maybe some can take a more technical look to see what happened.

I'm sorry for you!

Clicking links is damn risky now!

0

You've probably given access to your funds to a malicious contract. This happens a lot more than you might think on ETH and BSC, especially with shitcoins. I suggest ditching your current address and using a new one, it's no longer safe for you anymore to use it.

This also happened to me… Twice, throughout the years. I didn’t take security seriously! Lessons learned! I’m feel for you. Absolutely devastating!

I know my sorries will not make you feel better because I've lost great amounts of funds and can relate on some level but I would start there.

I am so sorry you had to go through this.

It is really sad that people live to steal other people's sweat and not expect bad things to happen to them or enjoy these funds they never worked for. What a pity!

I can only pray for all you've lost, God will replace it in triple folds, and when you least expect it to make this restoration even better and sweeter.

Hang in there @belemo
You are indeed a brave one and you will come out stronger.

Have a blessed and prosperous day.
