This blog will inform you all about the proposal I plan on launching to the Chicopee Cultural Council and want to show you all how hard I've been working to draft a way to use Hive in my community since 2017. Since 2017 ya boy, Charlie has been working hard on drafting the @onestrong idea and has expanded to creating the @boycharliefamily community. Now that I'm confident in my content creating and mainly in my writing(with a little help from Grammarly).

Who is my boy Charlie?

@boycharlieplays is a hive content creator that produces videos and blogs on the blockchain. The account aims to provide content that explores gaming, community-building, and interactive online content. @boycharlieplays content creation is a member of the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce in Chicopee, MA, and the Chicopee Cultural Council. With the motivation of an avid late-night gamer, he is yearning to provide an opportunity for members of the community.

MISSION

The mission of the “One Strong Creative Group” is to build a network of creators that exhibit the talents of its base and provide income and opportunities for artists and creators to showcase their abilities in open source creative spaces online.

VISION

The “One Strong Creator” Club will meet online in Discord or real-life events to discuss and create content online and provide education to new potential members on resources available to create audio, visual, or graphic media online.
The One Strong Creator program will educate potential creators in a 10 Week Intake into One Strong associated membership. Creators will help the broader creative community and their fellow creators create content and earn through posted blog content and curating other content on a specific blockchain-based site. This tutelage will walk through the media space, the platform of the Hive blockchain, and develop relationships and resources for their artistic ambitions.

FOUR BELIEFS OF THE CREATIVE GROUP

  • EDUCATION - We will educate people on how to get on the Hive Blockchain platform.
  • OPPORTUNITY - We will provide opportunities for creators that have gone through our program to create content in our space.
  • COLLABORATION - We will offer paid opportunities to collaborate with artists, small businesses, and others in our space.
  • ACCOUNTABILITY - We will be accountable for our tasks and encourage One Strong Member to perform the duties necessary to complete content onto the blockchain to the best of their artistic ability.

PUBLIC BENEFIT

  • We will provide affordable access cameras for shooting video, Microphones to record audio, and computers to edit graphics and media together.
  • We will provide affordable education on media creation, advertising, social media marketing skills, and the future of blockchain technology.
  • We will provide services for Before and After School Care Programs in the form of Youth Member Creative Media Education Sessions in our Area.

ONE STRONG CREATIVE GROUP

The One Strong Creative Group posts content onto the Hive blockchain and gather in-person to help organize and create content to support other than the ones by members. Members curate content from fellow members and other creators on the Hive Blockchain. A “One Strong Creator” can use our associated creative spaces and experienced members’ network to support their wanted content. This group encourages content on various topics (Blogging, Photography, Music, Painting, Science, Business, etc.). This constant support from the creative process to the curating process will ensure that each creator receives the membership benefits.

“One Strong Creator Posted Programming” will be featured and reshared on One Strong associated media channels and can be given promotion through our channels and directories as well as other prominent social media channels:

LEADERSHIP

The Program Creative Director will serve as the lead staff and coordinator in the One Strong Media Space. The Program Creative Director ensures new members’ education within the space and follows One Strong’s mission.

One Strong Media Spaces will house the equipment and the base of“creator membership'' that ensures the continual access to the program's space and resources. The media center will maintain the ability to hold space by applying for grants, generating income from educating new members and creators, and creating blog content to be supported online. The Creative Director leads programming and scheduling to the Media Center’s daily operations and the content posted onto the @onestrong hive account. The “@onestrong account” upvotes the community’s content to ensure that tokens mined through creators who engage on a selected platform/app.

WHAT IS HIVE?

“Hive” takes social media and helps creators and programmers build a living, breathing, and growing social economy - a community where users gain rewards for sharing their voice. It's a new kind of attention economy. Hive.blog is one of the many websites that are powered by the Hive blockchain and HIVE cryptocurrency. Associated Hive websites read and write content to the Hive blockchain, which stores the content in an immutable blockchain ledger, and rewards users for their contributions with digital tokens called HIVE. Every day, the Hive blockchain mints new HIVE tokens and adds them to a community's "rewards pool.” The “tokens” reward users for their contributions in the form of votes. This engagement, after seven days, distributes the valued amount of token from those votes. Users who hold more “tokens” in their account as "Hive Power" will get to decide where a larger portion of the rewards pool distributes through their vote. How does the Hive.blog differ from other social media websites? (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) While most social media sites extract this value for their shareholders’ benefit, Hive believes that the platform users should receive the benefits and rewards for their attention and their contributions to the platform.

  • ONE STRONG CREATOR MEMBERSHIP - $ 125 A MONTH. “One Strong Creator” refers to members that work in our spaces and assist online in our discord with our other communication channels. These members are independently working on their content and have walked through how to handle the space and equipment.

  • “ONE STRONG/HIVE BLOCKCHAIN” EDUCATION MODELS Gaining membership into the program is done through a 10-week educational period that reviews the equipment available and their uses for introductory video, audio, and creating visual art skills.
    One Strong will provide equal opportunity for all creator members to use the center’s equipment to share new content on the Hive blockchain. This 10 Week Course will: Inform Members How to create engaging and communicative content through written, video, audio, or graphic arts Inform Members How the Hive Blockchain rewards account through Author and Curation Rewards Inform Members of strategies and search engine optimization that works on posted content

  • MEMBER BENEFIT Round the clock Assistance during Programming Hours on technical and membership needs/questions/concerns. After completing the course, the member is allowed to rent space and equipment during Program operating hours.

Members will be empowered to follow the programming schedule posted on the @onestrong account and take part in our challenges and events that help build this incentive system that promotes sharing information online in a lively community. One Strong staff organize the schedule for the ten-week season. In this season, there are educational blocks planned for the day and times set for community engagement.

HIVE COMMUNITY NEW CREATOR EDUCATION (10 WEEK COURSE)

One Strong Hive Content Education Programming will educate new potential members on the Creative Director’s schedule. This schedule will teach and consult with members on how best to post on the website and build income through posted content. The Creative Director serves as the mentor coordinator and maintains the new creator’s schedule of events and the building's day to day functions. Creative Directors claim the @onestrong account and curate content using the Hive Power accumulated already. The Creative Director will generate income upon voting on new creator content and allow the program to show examples of these communities’ uses and applications to benefit one’s creative aspirations.

ONE STRONG CREATOR - 10 Week Program

Week 1

#introduce-yourself - members are just getting on and creating content that speaks to them. Day 1
New Creators will make their Hive accounts and review the usage of “Hive.Blog” to post onto the Blockchain.
Day 2 Lab Day - Day 3 We begin drafting our first personal blog post under the new Hive Account. We review markdown for creating stylized blogs.
Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 The “introduce yourself” blog of every member is due and reshared out to the community. All links receive @onestrong curation.

Week 2

#hive-education - members are just getting on and creating content that speaks to them. Day 1
Members begin a journal blog post with topics of their choice. Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 We continue developing the idea of the blog post and review other students' work. Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 We discuss the games and NFTs being developed and decide between 1 game to discuss next week.

Week 3

#gaming - Online gaming is a massive market that this website thrives. We wish to see who is the top player on the blockchain. Creators will race to get to the top of the community leaderboard this week.
Day 1
Members begin blogging about their favorite video game or daPP game on the blockchain for the week Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 We continue developing the idea of the blog post and review other students' creative work. Day 4
Lab Day Day 5 We discuss the games and NFTs being developed and decide between 1 game to discuss next week.

Week 4

#community - sharing about your content onto other platforms will grow the value of the token we are generating; creators will share their content on multiple media.
Day 1
Members plan a Hive blockchain social media campaign around bringing people to their profile to see recent content Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 Members plan social media campaigns for two other platforms outside of the blockchain(ex. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 We discuss the campaigns and review them together.

Week 5

#curation - Midway into the creator season, we challenge our members to post their best to nominate our top performers in specific categories.
Day 1
Members work on integrating other people’s posts into their blog posts (curating.) Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 We create categories for people to compete in to receive nominations. Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 We go over the nominations and vote on our favorite curated and created posts.

Week 6

#dapps - members will be encouraged to post about their favorite Dapp on the blockchain and their favorite associated creators that are major to the platform. Day 1
Members begin a journal blog post with topics of their choice. Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 We continue developing the idea of the blog post and review other students' work. Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 We discuss the games and NFTs being developed and decide between 1 game to discuss next week.

Weeks 7 - 9

#primetime - These weeks focus on the creator’s final branding entirely encouraging at least 4 of these weeks towards a group project that involves the entire group of creators.

Members begin a journal blog post with topics of their choice. Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 We continue developing the idea of the blog post and review other students' work. Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 We discuss the games and NFTs being developed and decide between 1 game to discuss next week.

Week 10

#graduation - This is the final week for creators to finish up the last items to present for a final post as a member of this education process.
Day 1
Members begin a journal blog post with topics of their choice. Day 2 Lab Day Day 3 We continue developing the idea of the blog post and review other students' work. Day 4 Lab Day Day 5 We discuss the games and NFTs being developed and decide between 1 game to discuss next week.

New Youth Creators (Ages 8-12yr)

School Age and Camp programs are invited to our spaces to receive education to utilize the space for their artistic endeavors during Before and After School/Summer Camp Programming hours.
Youth creators and their affiliated staff will receive a similar crash course have assisted access to cameras after receiving the Creative Director’s guidance on using the equipment.
Youth creators and their affiliated staff will have access to computers in the editing suite to hold private lessons.

Programs should reach out to the director for scheduling times available. Youth creator programming will be during the following times.
From 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM Before School Programming at One Strong Space.
From 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM After School Programming at One Strong Space From 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Evening Programming at One Strong Space

$8640 Purchasing Hive Power The purchased Hive Power will allow the holding account to upvote creations for more newly minted tokens. @onestrong Hive Power will be able to be used for curating content on the blockchain. Holding this Hive Power allows the One Strong account to support its content creators with an upvote once a day. Members can promote their posts and receive an upvote for their content upon review from the creative director.
50% of Tokens go to @onestrong as the source of Hive power 35% of Tokens go to Creator’s week after week for completing the education program.
15% of Tokens are Powered down and given to the Creative Director as a salary. Power downs take 13 Weeks to process the total amount requested completely.
Ex. (1400 Tokens being power down is split into 13 107 Hive Token Payments)

Where do we go from here

@boycharlieplays is filling out the grant application to fund a 10-week program to educate 10 members in the community. This is some of the information in the first draft that @boycharlieplays is continuously working on. With support from the chicopee art and education community and my continuous engagement with you all in the crypto and blockchain community, I hope to make this a reality and prove that there is power in the content and awesome community built by the best-decentralized social media blockchain.
