I recently began using Fold this week and love the app! One of the main ways I've always earned some cash back was through using credit card reward points, so once I discovered I could get more cashback in the form on Bitcoin for buying gift cards to stores I already shop at, it was a no brainer.

Here's the main Marketplace in the Fold app. After linking your card, this is where you can directly purchase e-gift cards. As you can see, they have some popular retailers such as Amazon.com, Autozone, Lowes, Bed Bath & Beyond, and more.

When you go to buy a gift card, you'll have multiple options of price points ranging from $25 all the way up to $200 depending on the store.

You can see here that buying a $100 Amazon gift card would give us 2%, or 22,088 satoshis back! Depending on the store, you can get 1%-5%, but usually you'd have to pay with Bitcoin to get the highest percent cashback. I'm ok with getting 2% because I'm not spending my BTC :)

And here's one of the best parts. You can use a lot of these gift cards in-store too! I was at Lowe's yesterday shopping for some new garden soil and pots, and I remembered Fold had Lowe's listed. So within 20 seconds I purchased a $50 Lowe's gift card and used it at the register, and was able to get Bitcoin back!

So far by just buying 3 gift cards totaling $200, I've already gained back 47,757 sats, which has a current value of $4.32. I'm always looking at ways to earn and hodl more crypto, and this one is super easy!
