Warning: Betfury Auction is NOT an Auction!

I have been mining BFG on Betfury for a couple of months now. I have managed to mine around 700 BFG using their free Faucet and a couple of other free crypto sources. Starting to look like it isn't a complete waste of time.

Today I stumbled across their Bitcoin auction section. In this section you can "bid" on bitcoin using your BFG Tokens.

Since I had been mining BFG using the dicegame technique for several months I had a pretty good idea how much BFG could be mined for a given amount of bitcoin and the auction prices looked really good.

I figured, what the heck, I'll bid. What's the worst that can happen? I won't win, and I won't have lost anything either.

WRONG!

What they are calling a "bid" is actually a bet. If you are the final bid, you will get a certain amount of bitcoin. If you are in the next 10 bids you will get some too (but not much!). But if you are not in the top 10 you still lose your "bid". If you bid early on, you are just wasting your BFG.

I'm not going to say it is a "scam" but it is certainly misleading.

I learned this the hard way and thought I would share to hopefully save some others from wasting some BFG if they are mining it too.
