My Shittiest Investment - A DENT In My Portfolio

Hey Leo Investors

So I found these shitty investment posts, and I thought it was hilarious, we always talk about our victories but never when our arses got handed to us. If you read my posts in the past, you'll probably think I'm a half-decent savvy investor, but I have lost money on shots I took even when I put the research into it.

During the boom time of 2017, there was an ICO mania, and every project sounded promising and was producing significant gains, it was more a casino than investment, but I rode it.

One of the projects I came across was DENT which was an ERC-20 token like most tokens at the time and would be used to buy and sell airtime and data via their platform. They had a platform and a working app, and the roadmap looked good.

Airtime is as good as money in many parts of Africa, so it sounded like an excellent project to get into at the time.

They buy-in

So I bought in early in December of 2017 at around $0.00076 and bought around 60 000 coins for $45, and I thought man was I smart, position size was excellent, and I was going to make bank. A month later it hit its ATH of $0.100600 in Jan 09, 2018, and I was stoked, this thing was going to the moon. My bags stood at a whopping $6036 in the space of a month, it was insane.

I was going to be rich; I'm not selling this, I'm going to hold on to the MOON, DENT is going to make me a millionaire baby.

In a stats perspective, I rode it all the way up with a 13313.33% increase.

So held on I did and hit the ATL of $0.00007065 Mar 13, 2020, and I continue to HODL, even though it lost -99.93% of its value from the top. I may even DCA to try and salvage this trade come the next run if they are still in operation. The current price is $0.00020368 with a market cap of $16,713,635

That's crypto tomorrow you're a king the next day you're a peasant lol, but I enjoy it, fun messing around with your money, I know others are very emotionally tied to it but not me. I see every win as fun and every loss as a lesson.
