Through the advancement of technologies in the last few years, we are faced with things that for decades could have been almost impossible. Used to watching science fiction films, I wondered if certain things I saw would be possible to happen in the real world in such a short time.

The impact of the change in the food industries in the world that we know today may be very great for people and the utopia of the end of global hunger may be rethought in the future. Companies are actively creating ways to be pioneers in many things and the search for technological innovations can be experienced at any time.

That's how the company Redefined Meat, an Israeli startup specializing in alternative meat, unveiled its brilliant new creation to the world. That of a herbal steak printed in 3D and its name is Alt-Steak.

It is impressive that at first glance it is practically impossible to notice any difference. It is even surreal to think that a company has created a meatless steak and that it is not only its appearance, but they claim that the steak also has the texture and flavor of real meat.

The accomplishment of the feat was necessary in addition to the Redefined Meat that was in this work with butchers, chefs, food technologists and the Swiss company Givaudan. The result is a sustainable steak, rich in protein and cholesterol free. How are you not surprised and anxious at the same time to try this delicacy?

According to Barclays, Alt-Steak sales could be $ 140 billion by 2029, about 10% of the world meat market today. The machines will be able to print 20 pounds an hour and promises hundreds at a lower cost than a real meat. Without a doubt, we are facing the future of the food industries and that a simple steak will be the beginning of a multitude of food options that we will witness.
