We are always looking for a crypto that has an everyday use case and in this case with AVA it has that but cannot be fully utilized as yet.

I have invested in the AVA token which is the crypto for the travel industry and needed to see how good or bad international travel is right now. Obviously having travel opening up will play a major role on the tokens price. I heard a rumor Trivago the travel booking giant was coming on board in December, but that may be delayed if there is little to no travel happening right now and December is literally around the corner.

With lockdowns still ever present in various countries around the world the reality of having travel open up this year is more of a pipe dream. The easiest place to go and confirm how bad things really are is checking the latest twitter feeds from the aeroplane storage facilities. This is the Airbus owned facility Teruel Airport in Spain. They are planning to double the storage space by 2024 adding another 20 000 Hectares.

When you zoom out you get to realise the scale and size of these storage facilities.

I think if you need one photograph to tell exactly where the travel industry is right now this will answer that question. Quantas (Australia) has ordered it's 5 A380's to be returned in July 2022 so 10 months away still. Some people regard this as bullish so how much longer must this be dragged out? I suppose when people celebrate one plane leaving the storage facility things have to be seriously bad. One British Airways plane left yesterday with one more planned later this year. That is seriously terrible if we are talking this is the first plane to leave this facility since the pandemic started. Singapore Airlines took three back from another facility last week but it is still single figures and not happening every week. This is going to take possibly another year for this to get back to normal.

The cruise liner industry is only now slowly opening up but covid passports are required so how much fun that will be wearing masks on holiday.

The Queen Mary 2 in for refurbishments tells a sad story as well as they are not going to be cruising anytime soon. Gives them a break though as ships still have had to have crew on board for the last 20 months even though they are not servicing customers. This is in order to keep their licences which has cost the shipping lines a fortune with no revenue coming in.

I think there is still time to get more AVA over the coming months before it moons at some point. The burning form 60 million tokens down to 41 million tokens is still happening quarterly and will just take a little longer to complete with travel still being down. This is the reality of investing in a token that has a use case which is not being used that often right now. Once everything is back to normal however I am super pumped about what could happen to the price.
