My approach to investing has long been the "slow and steady wins the race" one. You know, just letting a few dollars here and a few cents there gradually add up over a very long time.... a bit like the jar of loose change some people keep on their desk or dresser. I'm very much a "create a cushion for a rainy day" investor.
