My Local Coin Shop Dealer is usually firm, but fair on his prices, not much haggle room. But today, he came down to a round number of $200, from $210, for this 5-Gram Platinum Pamp Suisse/Swiss: What sold me on this item was the fact that he had a similar 5-Gram Gold one for, a firm, $350. As some know, we live in, one of the few times, where Gold prices exceed Platinum prices, despite the fact that platinum is 15 times rarer than Gold, out of the earth's crust. Today Gold's price is exactly double Platinum's. At about $1730 vs $865. Incredible! Record high prices are around $1900 for Gold and over $2200 for Platinum. Good luck finding this 5-Gram Pamp Platinium, anywhere. They are pretty much sold out with the internet dealers, as they were selling for under $140, last month. Platinum prices are way down, but the premiums are sky-high. Most dealers have Gold but not Platinum. Today, out of the ground, as in mining, Gold is, arguably, 8 to 15 times rarer than Silver. Platinum is 15 times rarer Gold. And I have read that Palladium is a whopping 15 times rarer than Platinum. Not much information on Palladium and much information looked like it came from the same source. Did you know that Platinum is heavier/denser than Gold? Thanks for looking and keep on Stacking.
