I took advantage of the dip and the Labor Day discount code to buy a decent chunk of crypto using the local CoinFlip ATM. I am not often able to buy crypto, but had a really nice check this last week. I usually aim to earn the majority of my crypto by posting here on Hive. This plan works out great and allows me to have a larger amount of crypto every single day. However there are some times where I just can’t pass up the opportunity to buy low, times like today.

I chose to buy Litecoin since the fees to make a transfer are relatively low and typically quick. Especially in comparison to Bitcoin and Ethereum. I used BlockTrades to swap all of the LTC for HIVE. I saw this as a great opportunity increase the rate in which I finally reach 40k total HIVE.

Using the ATM was so simple. I gave my name and phone number, then scanned the QR code for my Litecoin wallet on the Exodus mobile app. After that I inserted $250 cash and immediately the transfer was completed. I was pretty happy with the blazing speed and relatively low fee. It is by far the easiest way for me to turn fiat into crypto in my state of WV. I’m lucky our only ATM is just a 10 minute drive from where I live.

This was my first time actually using the ATM, but I did write an article whenever the ATM was first installed. I also received a free care package from CoinFlip for my article. I was even offered a job with the company, but chose to say no since they wanted me to move to Chicago. The thought of working for a company focused on crypto sounds awesome, but I had zero desire to live in Chicago.
