Hace unos pocos minutos me enteré de la iniciativa de @theycallmedan, por un comentario en Twitter de @eddieespino, a mi interrogante sobre la actividad de venezolanos en esta plataforma.

Desde hace algún tiempo he visto poco interés en publicar desde Leofinance por parte de los venezolanos. Es probable que esto haya cambiado y yo me quedé en el pasado, porque hoy mi sorpresa fue muy grata cuando vi un Twitt desde la cuenta de Leofinance, diciendo que en Venezuela la plataforma había alcanzado la posición 900 en Alexa.

Alexa es un ranking de estadísticas, que mide las visitas a todas las webs del mundo.

Ver que Leofinace.io está en esa posición en Venezuela es increíble y nos motiva a llevarla a mejores posiciones. Se que con esta iniciativa de Dan así lo será; de hecho en @rutablockchain ya nos activamos para conformar un equipo que publicará y comentará las publicaciones.

¿Cómo ha impactado la tecnología Blockchain en sus finanzas personales?

Ahora sí, vamos con la iniciativa; que aunque algunas veces he tocado el tema, es una buena oportunidad para recordarlo y enfocarlo mucho más en la parte económica.

La primera vez que escuché de bitcoin fue en enero de 2016. Fue algo muy breve en una video llamada que trataba sobre otra cosa, pero que salio a la conversación el bitcoin como inversión.

Lo único que tuve que escuchar para enamorarme fue que era una tecnología nueva que casi nadie conocía y que buscaba remplazar al dinero. Me contaron lo que había subido el precio y que muchos se hicieron millonarios porque compraron temprano y creyeron en esa idea.

Desde ese momento me puse a investigar, algo en lo que duré varios meses. En este momento creo que pienso mucho las cosas y casi siempre termino haciéndolas pero con algo de retraso. No veo justificación en haber esperado meses para comprar mis primeros satoshis, pero todo es perfecto y ya estamos escribiendo aquí y ganando $LEO.

Compré mis primeros satoshis; fue algo como $140 dolares de un pago que me hicieron en Paypal, menos la comisión de 20% para pasarlo a BTC. Perdí 65$ en una HIYP y con menos algunas comisiones altas de la época, me quedaron menos de 30$ que me tí en Uphold y que hasta ahora no retiro.

Más de un año después fue que me involucré de lleno en el mundo cuando conocí Steem y comencé a ganar criptomonedas por publicar contenido. Ese momento fue crucial para salir de una gran crisis económica que vivía.

Ya mis pocos satoshis valían más pero sabía que tenía que obtener más para acumular y nunca vender, porque tenía la visión que explotara y valiera mucho. A pesar de haber pasado hambre y adelgazado varios kilos, nunca vendía mis criptos. No importaba lo difícil de la situación, esos ahorros siempre fueron sagrados para mí. Pienso que soy un testimonio de aguante y resistencia, para obtener buen retorno de inversión. Soy un holder tremendo jajaja.

Después que entré en Steem, comencé a conocer más de cripto. Fui a una conferencia de Dash y gané bastante dinero vendiendo mis productos en sus ferias.

En ese caso el ser holder asérrimo, hizo que no aprovechara la racha de diciembre de 2017. Este año que influyó mucho en hacerme quedar en el mundo cripto; viendo la locura de subidas en las monedas, me emocionó a tal punto que viendo como bajaban después en 2018 seguía pegado a mi filosofía de nunca vender. Desde ahí tengo guardado medio Dash, que llegó a ser 750$ de mis ganancias por vender Puzzlesorios en las ferias. En este momento son poco más de 50$. Por supuesto que no lo venderé hasta ver el Dash por lo menos en 1.000$, siempre fiel a mis principios jajaja.

El 2018 no fue un jarín de rosas, pero indudablemente mejor que 2017 (sin contar el último trimestre). Ese 2018 aunque duro también económicamente, ya conocía mejor las criptomonedas y sabía las infinitas oportunidades que nos presentan.

Aunque la mayoría de mis ingresos venían de Steem y esta moneda no paraba de bajar; gané un concurso de 500$ con SmartCash. También gané otro de 100$ en Steem y algunos airdrops que ayudaron bastante.

Hoy me siento fortalecido junto con la industria cripto. Hemos madurado juntos, aprendiendo muchas cosas, sobre todo a diversificar y siempre guardar bitcoin.

El mundo blockchain también me enseñó a invertir solo en proyectos donde mantenga mi propiedad, al igual como se debe mantener las llaves privadas en bitcoin y en HIVE.

Este año 2020 ha sido el que más he ahorrado, ya desde antes de esta subida de las criptos. A principios de año me atreví a invertir en negocios que no hubiera hecho antes, pero estudiando su descentralización pude confiar en ellos y ganar algo de Ethereum.

Este año trambién trajo a HIVE a mi vida, que vino concentrado porque tiene muchísimas más cosas que las que conocí en años en Steem. También con LEO que etá siendo una opción poderosa.

Lo que más me ha emocionado este año de blockchain, no es que bitcoin esté llegando a 20K; sino conocer sobre NFT y haber vendido arte digital es algo alucinante para mí.

Agradezco a Satoshi Nakamoto por crear esta visión y a todos los que ponen su grano de arena creando proyectos y comunidades espectaculares. A todos los hivers que hacen vida aquí y le dan tanta energía a este lugar.

What has excited me the most this year of blockchain, is not that bitcoin is reaching 20K; but knowing about NFT and having sold digital art is something amazing to me.
