THE POWER OF THE Tongue. EL PODER DE LA Lengua.

For you to really be a good person, then you seriously have to control your tongue.

Para que realmente seas una buena persona, primero debes aprender a controlar tu lengua.

Most people don't even know how powerful their tongue is, some use it to insult themselves, others you it to insult other people, and later during Sunday's and Fridays, they use that Same Tongue to bless and pray to God.

La mayoría de las personas ni siquiera sabe cuán poderosa es su lengua, algunos la usan para insultarse a sí mismos, otros la usan para insultar a otras personas, y más tarde, durante los domingos y viernes, usan esa misma lengua para bendecir y orar a Dios.

You See, the tongue is something that we can't tame and control, it's the smallest member of our body, but it boasts of great things. You all can tame animals, birds, and other creatures that live in the sea, but no person on earth can tame or control his tongue.

Verás, la lengua es algo que no podemos domesticar y controlar, es el miembro más pequeño de nuestro cuerpo, pero se jacta de grandes cosas. Todos pueden domesticar animales, pájaros y otras criaturas que viven en el mar, pero ninguna persona en la tierra puede domesticar o controlar su propia lengua.

We bless God with our tongue, but we curse ourselves and insult other people, and we all know that they were made in the same image of God. Out of the same mouth brings blessing and cursing, please this doesn't have to be so.

Bendecimos a Dios con nuestra lengua, pero nos maldecimos a nosotros mismos e insultamos a otras personas, y todos sabemos que fuimos creados a la misma imagen y semejanza de Dios. Es desde la misma boca que se pronuncian bendiciones y maldiciones, por favor, esto no tiene por qué ser así.

I know that we all are not perfect, even myself, but we can try very hard, just try as hard as you can, to control your tongue.

Sé que no todos somos perfectos, ni siquiera yo mismo, pero podemos realizar un gran esfuerzo, solo esfuérzate lo más que puedas para controlar tu lengua.

I am just writing this message after I read the bible, James 3:6, that is if you want to read it you can. Please don't forget that this world is coming to an end, so I want everyone to be careful with the way we live our lives.
