ARCHON Tribe is LIVE on archonapp.net!

Archon Tribe site is now live, a home for our new tribe dedicated to community governance, general purpose support, open initiatives and even fun and games! For now it is free for all to post on archonapp.net! Come and join in the excitement!

The reward pool is small and growing, and the inflation curve is quite low. You may remember from our announcement post that ARCHON tribe is dedicated to low supply and low inflation.

The ARCHONM tokens are doing their job, awarding tokens as well as liquid hive to the winners each day. Some hive is earned by every miner, everyday, which is good for small holders. But the best reason to be a Miner in the Archon tribe is Governance.

Governance!?

Yes, Governance! That mystical technology that humans still need work on, one which we know can cause all sorts of problems over time if we don't get it right, Archon Tribe will be using their limited supply (1000) miners to test and expand the area of testing for decentralized governance. The first obstacle is getting really high quality humans to become miners.

UFMM miner token holders are on deck for an ARCHONM airdrop, and the final airdrop will come sometime in the near future ('roughly a week' we do not believe to be a hard deadline) to the early ARCHON stakers.

The first governance decision will be about adding a fee to post on Archon tribe - presumably this would avoid some amount of spam posting and rewards farming. We imagine the possibility of a small posting fee in Hive that gets powered up, over time building a formidable community voting account! There are other options, and we will see what the opinion is of the other miners.

For now the best source to follow (besides our own blog of course!) is the @archon-mining account. The daily mining reports have been upgraded with daily news item or curated post with their 'Featured Post' selections. Remember that ARCHON will also continue being a 'General Support' tribe like 'UpFundMe'.
