Have you ever been interested in playing DCity? Founded by @gerber, the second edition is completing its cycle, and after the recent Small Updates & Stats, Alternative Markets announcement, we suspect that 3rd edition is right around the corner. There have also been the mystery of the ENTRY tokens, as well as some behind the scenes rumors (such as the integration of BATTLE token with a new mechanic!), lead us to believe that this is a project that will live on in excitement for many more months.

Since this is our interpretation of the project, we notice that SIM seems underpriced. Since SIM can print new cards, of any edition, it has a peg price at the cost to print a new card in HIVE, namely: 800 SIM per 4 HIVE, which is 200 SIM per HIVE, or 0.005 HIVE per SIM.

Here is the market at the time of writing, with hundreds of HIVE of underpriced SIM listed.

Why is there downward pressure on SIM? In a sense this is healthy, because people are interested in getting out some of their investment into the game. "Letting out some ~~steam"~~we mean HIVE, and allowing everyone to feel comfortable again with their level of holdings. SIM are in a way, dividend payments on the future of DCITY as a game.

And they have another important use:

ELECTING A PRESIDENT!

Since the release of the presidency, we have had @ABrockman and now @XXXXXXXXXX. An election is held every 15 days, and the President chooses the tax rate, some of which give bonuses.

This round, @ecoinstant will be running again, on a platform of 'Low Tax' and 'Role Play'. This means more posting about DCity, as well as more frequent, but more public, changes to the tax policy.

There is an opportunity here, if you think that @gerber can keep it going for at least one more edition. Since the third edition cards will cost 800 sim, we can effectively preorder 3rd edition cards by buying cheap SIM today.
