CBD oil, also referred to as cannabigerol, is a compound extracted from the cannabis plant that has been shown to have medicinal benefits for several ailments. It is a major phytocannabinoid found in marijuana plants and accounts for more than 40% of the active ingredient of marijuana. While it has not been fully studied, many studies show that it may help improve the quality of life for people suffering with anxiety and depression, help reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, and reduce the risk of certain cancers.

CBD oil is most commonly used to treat epilepsy, but CBD from Gold Bee is being looked at as an alternative treatment for a range of other medical conditions including glaucoma, and Alzheimer's disease. CBD may be able to help lower blood pressure, which can be particularly useful for those who are overworked and taking medications such as anti-depressants. Research is ongoing, but CBD has been approved by the FDA to treat Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy, so it is possible that it may help prevent or slow the progression of these conditions as well.

CBD is legal in all states of the US, as well as the District of Columbia, although states where medical marijuana is legal still prohibit its use. Many medical marijuana patients also use CBD oil to treat their symptoms. The active ingredient in this oil is called cannabidiol, which is the same compound found in marijuana, only in a smaller amount.

CBD oil is still illegal under federal law, and many states are phasing out medical marijuana entirely. If you are in possession of any CBD oil and are facing charges, you should consult a qualified attorney specializing in marijuana law to help you determine whether or not your case can be brought against you on grounds of possessing an illegal substance. Because it is a Schedule I drug, the Drug Enforcement Administration has placed strict restrictions on where it can be used.

There is some anecdotal evidence that CBD may also help with the negative side effects of chemotherapy. Since CBD is an inhibitor of the CB1 receptor, it has been shown to act in a manner similar to marijuana in that it increases the levels of certain neurotransmitters like gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. Scientists believe that it may help to reduce the negative side effects of chemotherapy by reducing anxiety and panic attacks that occur when the body undergoes intense treatment. CBD is also believed to be helpful in the treatment of glaucoma and may even decrease the chance of blindness after surgery. In addition, there are also reports that CBD may help to alleviate the symptoms of migraine headaches and seizures.

Although there is no conclusive evidence of CBD's benefits, there are many reasons to think that it may have some value to those who suffer from certain medical conditions. There are also concerns, however, that CBD may have serious side effects, especially if it is combined with other substances like marijuana.
