My thoughts regarding Hive/LeoFinance and the LEO token economy.

I have been thinking a lot lately about the last developments in the LeoFinance community. there's so MUCH happening here at the moment.

And I can only feel Proud.

Seriously, I'm a restless ass and If it were not for Leofinance, I wouldn't be here anymore (Hive ecosystem). All the necessities for development/activity/progress that I would expect from Hive as a whole is being solely satisfied by the quick path of action of LeoFinance.

This doesn't talk well about Hive. LeoFinance eclipsing the whole Hive ecosystem in terms of progress and now leading the path into Uniswap with the recently announced incentives seems ridiculous in my eyes.

It should be the other way around.

Some #hiveshit

Instead of leading the path. We're facing with one of the worst possible scenarios on Hive.

Self-Complacency.

''Yeah we forked the chain'' ''We're the real community'' ''Now everything will be better''

Yeah. Almost 6 months and we still have to implement HF24 (In all honestly I would expect it to be completed ages ago). I'm probably biased here as I don't know how to code. But you get my point.

If the development MUST be that slow, at least let's worry for creating some excitement.

Here some community members like Nathanmars or theycallmedan did an awesome work. I don't see them asking for DAO funds and they're still there. Doing their best.

It's also exciting to see local communities moving. I heard that #hivechat has been 'trending' in Venezuela like 3-4 times in consecutive weeks. This is AWESOME and it's exactly what we should be encouraging. Congratulations to all the participants.

Instead, we have a misuse of funds from the DAO.

Because yes, we got rid of the influence of Justin Sun and their ninja-mined stake, but now we're facing with that kind of corruption which can even be worse with the next HF24.

Check this post to know about the latest Hive drama.

If we can't keep people accountable we're doomed. And Orcas & Dolphins like me can't do nothing in the short term. Whales control the DAO at the moment. I don't have any problem with that, but please, let's make our best to keep people accountable.

Please let's not sacrifice our long term potential for the greediness of a few who thinks they deserve everything.

If you're a whale and have doubts, better vote for the return proposal. It's there for exactly that reason.

Enough shitting for today, let's go back to LeoFinance/LEO

I guess that's something that happens. You have groups of people working in things that matter for you and you can't avoid comparing.

I want both Hive and LeoFinance succeeding, but seeing that fuckery happening in Hive drives me mad.

At this point, I'm thinking seriously about focusing solely on the LeoFinance community and fuck it. But that's a decision that I won't be making today.

Boosting LEO Liquidity

The move from the closed environment of Hive-Engine to the Ethereum network in the form of Wrapped LEO is an awesome move, and as a LEO whale I can't do anything than supporting the call to action.

Yes, all my LEO is going straight into the liquidity pool with their matching amount in ETH.

(Or well, If LEO increases in price a lot from there I won't be able to match that amount in ETH, but I'll do my best. I guess it would be a great problem to have, should add. No promises here).

Obviously I'm not doing this for charity, but I think that providing that much-needed liquidity is the best way to help LeoFinance.

And of course, If I help Leofinance, I'm helping myself.

LeoFinance as a Business

With such a big stake (a ~1,5% of the circulating supply) I also consider LeoFinance as my own business.

And as such, I'll do my best to take care of my project/investment.

I always thought about creating some kind of business/infrastructure to help to educate the Spanish community in financial and cryptocurrency terminology.

Without noticing I was one of the few lucky ones who received the initial LEO airdrop, and LeoFinance started giving form to my dream/idea (and I didn't even notice at that stage).

Exactly for that reason, I also decided to consider LeoFinance 'my business'. Now whenever I want, I can start working on my 'idea' with the foundation set.

I love how fast LeoFinance is evolving. The Uniswap launch will be incredible, Mark my words. You'll see what happens when magic happens.

More updates coming soon.

I can only say thanks and feeling proud of all what's happening at this place. Onwards LEO!
