When we moved from the old chain to the new one, at the beginning we had nothing to substitute steemchiller's Steemworld, a tool that has been essential to many. We knew it was just a matter of time till someone smart (er have plenty here) comes up with a tool like that and after a couple of months we had Beeeme.

It was not the same as Steemworld as it was an older version with less features and not as trustworthy as the other as we didn't know who's behind it, but it was still something, better than flying blind. We could check things and act accordingly, which is exactly what we needed.

Then one day out of the blue, the person behind it decided it's time to use the app for other purposes, and implemented some changes that basically made the app useless to hive users. I believe our stats matter as well and we should be able to use the app. Obviously it's a free tool and the owner does as he/she pleases and as we can see, we have no option here but to stare at the banner on the screen.

An option would have been nice, a click that leads us to the stats but there's none here. This is going on for about two weeks now I believe. Up until today I've been able to get my stats using different tricks but not anymore. So I'm done with the app. It's no use to me, staring at the black and white screen won't help neither me, not black lives. No offense.

There's Hivestats by @steem.leo (it's time for a new name by the way), which I trust more than Beeme. We know who's behind the app, they are open to suggestions and working with us to make the app better, which is key. Only this way you can develop a tool for the community, by listening to the community, knowing what they want. Feedback and suggestions are important.

If you've invested in Hive, you most likely want to monitor your investment. Investment can be of many types, some have invested fiat, or other cryptos, others just their time, which is also valuable. It's still under development, they are on the right track and if it'll be finished, we'll have the strongest tool to help us monitor and plan our activity on Hive as we like.

However, as I said, there are things missing and I'd like to ask the devs to consider implementing the followings.

  • Curation time is shown in minutes right now. It'd be more precise with a couple of decimals. A minute has 60 seconds, in which a lot can happen. It would be great to see when we voted and how the vote has turned out.
  • Reputation can be seen next to your name but without decimals. Reputation has been the subject of many debates, I'm not going to go through those again, but if we have one, it would be nice to see the evolution as well. It's known that the higher your reputation, the harder to reach the next level, it can take ages. I'm not a dev or a coder but I don't think it's so difficult to implement to show two or three decimals.

If you're not using this tool, I suggest you to check it out and use it as it's the tool of the future. Also I'd like to ask you to support their work by voting for LeoFinance Witness.
