  • Venture capital fund Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has predicted a fourth cycle of cryptocurrencies, fueled by high-quality projects. The company analyzed 10 years of data, looking at the previous three cycles and seeing steady growth across all key metrics. The firm concluded that a wide range of projects will be launched in the third cycle, including payments, finance, gaming, infrastructure and web applications, in the near future, possibly driving a fourth crypto cycle.

  • Ripple's Japanese financial group and partner SBI is ready to integrate Ripple's MoneyTap solution into Japanese ATMs. According to the company's latest financial report, the app will help bank consumers access their accounts and withdraw cash at a wide range of ATMs, regardless of who they operate with, reducing costs for both customers and banks, converting ATMs in "jointly operated multiple banks".

  • China and Australia have successfully concluded a cross-border blockchain-powered iron ore purchase and shipment agreement. The deal, the parties involved say, was particularly significant, as it was the first blockchain sale deal for metal ore to be held at China's renminbi trustee (RMB), rather than the United States dollar, the preferred currency of most companies for international trade agreements.

  • South Korea's government rated the southern port city of Busan's blockchain regulation-free zone a "excellent" rating in a review. Operators in the area, who remain confident that they will earn the right to issue Regulated Initial Coin (ICO) offers, are subject to regular audits and reviews. Failure to comply with government approval could result in the closure of the area.

  • Crypto.com (CRO) started sending its crypto card to fiat Visa MCO to 31 European countries, including the 27 member states of the European Union, which is a market of almost 530 million people. Crypto.com has already seen thousands of reservations for the MCO Visa card from users across the EU. In addition, the platform has also announced today that the limits of the Visa MCO card in Europe have been increased.
