Normalmente vivo abstraído en mis pensamientos y en esta ocasión me han dejado pensado en una cuestión en extremo interesante. Me preguntaron *¿Qué ocurriría si todas las personas en el mundo alcanzaran la libertad e independencia financiera?
Cuestión en extremo interesante, y en seguida respondí. Estaríamos hablando de una Utopía financiera. Ahora bien, hablar de utopías siempre resulta ambicioso y en extremo interesante. Pero antes de seguir con mi reflexión. Definamos brevemente lo que significa Utopía. En resumen, y analizando su etimología, utopía viene a ser una palabra compuesta.
Por un lado, tenemos el prefijo U que viene del “uo” que representa una negación ya que simplemente significa “no”, y por otro lado tenemos “topos” que significa “Lugar”. Es decir, esta palabra que fue acuñada por el filosofo Tomás Moro significa: “No-lugar”. Por eso, pensar en utopías es pensar en algo idealizado. Que solo puede existir en el pensamiento.
Ahora bien, pensando en una sociedad utópica donde todos sus habitantes alcancen la libertad financiera resulta más que nunca interesante. Ya que si concebimos una sociedad sin pobreza en un momento donde la pobreza se extiende como un desierto financiero.
No creo que pueda en este post abordar los detalles que merece el pensar una utopía de estas dimensiones. Pero me dedique a pensar las interrogantes que este tema convoca.

**¿Qué tipo de economía se debe forjar para que esta utopía sea posible?

¿Qué valores a nivel social deben dominar la vida de todos los ciudadanos?

¿Qué significa libertad financiera?

¿Qué moneda dominará en nuestra sociedad utópica?

¿Prevalecerá la misma economía que nos llevó a la utopía o habrá un cambio sustancial en el modo de concebir y de darse la economía?

¿Qué tipo de empleo se dará en este nuevo mundo?

¿Cómo se generará el ingreso básico universal?
-
¿Serán necesarios instancias como el Fondo monetario internacional (FMI)?

y una de las preguntas que más llamó mi atención fue el cuestionarme ¿cómo podrían concebirse plataformas como HIVE dentro de la utopía?**
Seguro si sigo pensando sobre esta cuestión nacerán muchas más preguntas, pero más o menos de este modo imaginé. Primero lo concibo como una sociedad autosustentable energéticamente, energía limpia, que no contamine el medio ambiente. Como estamos acercándonos a una sociedad 3.0, creo que habrá dos tipos de economía, una pre-utopica, quizás sea la que comenzamos a vivir hoy con las criptomonedas y la blockchain, donde se gestaran ciertos valores indispensables en nuestra nueva sociedad, valores como la confianza, la seriedad, la responsabilidad, y la transparencia.
Creo que una nueva ciudad pensada en la proyección utópica financieramente hablando quedaría abolido todo sistema económico actual, pero siento que iríamos más allá del modo actual que concebimos a las cryptos.
Pero de darse algo cercano a una economía sería una economía digital, donde toda pobreza quede en el olvido. Pienso que todos tendríamos las mismas posibilidades, pero en verdad creo que si de darse la utopía quedaría abolida todo tipo de economía en sentido contemporáneo.
Ahora bien, ¿habría trabajos? Creo que sí, todos deberíamos aportar en una sociedad utópica, pero creo que lo haríamos por vocación. Ya que todas las necesidades estarían cubiertas y todo lo que podemos llamar productos, estarían a disposición y al alcance de todos.
Creo que esto amerita muchos más detalles, pero necesitaría escribir un tratado y este formato no es el mas apropiado. También pienso en si habría o no un sistema judicial, si hay buenos valores, todas las necesidades están cubiertas, todos los humanos con iguales condiciones de posibilidad, creo que resulta innecesario un sistema judicial, mas no me queda muy claro si debería de haber un sistema de vigilancia.
Y plataformas como HIVE una red social 3.0 ¿tendría cabida en este tipo de sociedad? Creo que sí, pero de una forma muy diferente a la actual, aunque no lo tengo muy claro aún, ya que HIVE es una plataforma financiera, quizás transmute en algo mucho más, quizás ahora no lo pueda pensar del todo claro.
Son muchas cosas más las que vienen a mi mente, pero creo que esto necesita mucho tiempo para meditar. Pero es un asunto que me mantendrá ocupado, pensando y pensando en cómo podría ser.

Normally I live in my thoughts and this time I have been left wondering about an extremely interesting question. *I was asked what would happen if everyone in the world achieved financial freedom and independence?
An extremely interesting question, and I answered immediately. We would be talking about a financial Utopia. Now, talking about utopias is always ambitious and extremely interesting. But before I continue with my reflection. Let us briefly define what Utopia means. In short, and analyzing its etymology, utopia is a compound word.
On the one hand, we have the prefix U that comes from "uo" which represents a negation since it simply means "no", and on the other hand we have "topos" which means "Place". I do not think I can in this post to address the details that deserves to think a utopia of these dimensions. But I will dedicate myself to think about the questions that this topic raises.

What currency will dominate in our utopian society? -Will the same economy that led us to utopia prevail, or will there be a substantial change in the way the economy is conceived and implemented?

What kind of employment will there be in this new world? How will universal basic income be generated?

Will institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) be necessary?

And one of the questions that most caught my attention was how could platforms such as HIVE be conceived within utopia?**
Surely if I continue thinking about this question many more questions will arise, but more or less in this way I imagined. First I conceive it as an energetically self-sustainable society, clean energy, that does not pollute the environment. As we are approaching a 3.0 society, I think there will be two types of economy, a pre-utopian one, perhaps the one we are beginning to live today with cryptocurrencies and blockchain, where certain indispensable values will be born in our new society, values such as trust, seriousness, responsibility, and transparency.
I believe that a new city thought in the utopian projection financially speaking would abolish all current economic system, but I feel that we would go beyond the current way we conceive cryptos.
But if there is something close to an economy, it would be a digital economy, where all poverty would be forgotten. I think we would all have the same possibilities, but I truly believe that if utopia were to happen, all types of economy in the contemporary sense would be abolished.
Now, would there be jobs? I think so, we should all contribute in a utopian society, but I think we would do it by vocation. Since all needs would be covered and everything that we can call products would be available and affordable to everyone.
I think this deserves much more detail, but I would need to write a treatise and this format is not the most appropriate.
I also think about whether or not there would be a judicial system, if there are good values, all needs are covered, all humans with equal conditions of possibility, I think it is unnecessary a judicial system, but it is not very clear to me if there should be a surveillance system.
And platforms such as HIVE, a 3.0 social network, would it have a place in this type of society? I think so, but in a very different way from the current one, although I am not very clear yet, since HIVE is a financial platform, perhaps it will transmute into something much more, maybe now I can't think about it at all clearly.
There are many more things that come to my mind, but I think this needs a lot of time to meditate. But it is a matter that will keep me busy, thinking and thinking about how it could be.
