Three Simple Rules to Attain Financial Freedom

Going to school, Getting a Job, and working to save for your retirement, if you ever heard these things or were indicted into this rules, then I will say for sure that you were born into either a poor or a middle class family and your parent did well to school you well. This is the way we were taught to live our lives, leaving one job for bigger job with bigger pay so you can increase your income, savings as well as expenses. Sincerely, this part is the easiest, convenient and affordable path to take when it comes to living as the day goes by but one thing, we need to make clear here is that it can’t make a person rich.

Like I always say, working as an employee doesn’t mean you would not be rich, being rich is dependent on rule and these rules are not exclusive to a certain set of people but they are only applied by a infinitesimal amount of people who know the value. Image

Rule 1: Frugality If you do not understand how to calculate every spending of yours, then you are going to be spending the amount you would end to pay for two pairs of a commodity to buy one pair. Also, once a person is a spendthrift, they do end up not having anything saved for the future. Frugality does not mean you should be unable to spoil yourself occasionally but rather it means getting the right value for the right amount of money spent and not wasting funds on irrelevant things.

Rule 2: Do not Sell time for Money “Time is money”, yes, I agree but the matter remains times is money when used to in the right way. You cannot keep working from 9AM – 5AM, with the aim of making more money compared to someone who works the same time and still has other investment working for them while they sleep. Time is money but not an exchange rate for money to be earned.

Rule 3: The Journey to wealth is not a one-man race If you have to make wealth, you will need to work with people, learn from people, require the expertise and help of people who will be needed to help you grow, also, you will need to help others grow as you grow.

Conclusion

Either you are an employee or an employer, attaining financial freedom is something that can be done with dedication and following the right rules to make wealth.
