Free money (ECB madness)

Hivers,

We have our own little bit of inflation in Hive of course but nothing compares to the last ideas of the European Central Bank boss (f) Mss Lagarde.

"Why do we not purchase all bad loans of European banks and put them in a Bad bank ?

Costs involved : 1,000,000,000,000 EUR Paid by: ECB prints money per family that is : 6,000 EUR

Are you used to the zeroes already ?

"A coffee with a croissant ? That will be 90,000 EUR then "

Are we going crazy ? Have we not seen what happened with printing money when an economy is going downwards? Check Germany Zimbabwe and Venezuela … and to a lesser extent Italy and Greece only recently

QE in a growing economy is worth a try but killing in a downward spiral.

In HIve we a group - community silvergoldstackers - with savings in silver and/or gold. At least these protect you against (hyper) inflation, especially gold.
