I would like to see present and future value of Engine Token and its basic and reward policy. What would be the real value of Engine Token and which direction would be best to develop engine token?

I looked at Steem engine token to see this. Steem Coin Pan(SCT) is one of most dynamic steem community and has been issuing 3 tokens that are SCT token, krwp token and SCTM token that are the fundamental of its ecosystem. And recently SCT has applied many updates to krwp token on policy and reward guideline. So the community members’ are very closely monitoring the change. SCT management team changed the reward policy that could give more benefits to many members via newly developed krwp service. But they changed the reward policy soon because the service got huge popularity making voting account’s power lower.

What is the role of krwp token?

I don’t know clearly what the main purpose of krwp was and how it was designed to contribute SCT ecosystem. These are 3 main roles that I got from some of postings.

  1. Reward for Author
    • Author are rewarded with krwp when he/she post via SCT nitorios
    • Payout check by wallet
    • Payout deposit frequency: 2 times a day
  2. Key currency
    • Some of management team commented the expression “Key Currency” like USD
    • But Key Currency should have low volatility and secure fixed value. But krwp doesn’t seem to have enough level of this feature and I still do not know cleary why key currency are necessary in ecosystem. Maybe I am in a lack of currency mechanism.
  3. Stable coin
    • The meaning and definition may be mixed with key currency
    • krwp is intended to be worth of 1,000 KRW. This value are not backed by other asset or rigid policy while depending on market value.

The usage of krwp

krwp is a voting token as a result. The voting could be regarded as reliable because it is done by SCT community accounts and voting means getting steem token asset. But it may take some time to get initial investment in the circumstance of uncertainty and long-term return.

  1. Basic voting: Voting proportional to kwrp total amount of staking krwp and delegated krwp
  2. krwp payment voting: Voting proportional to krwp transfer
  3. Lotto board: Get lotto to get voting coupon
