Well, I do agree with the things you've said, but the hourly wage in Sweden is inaccurate. The average wage is more close to 155 SEK per hour, which is about $17.50. Anything above 175 SEK/hour is basically considered highly paid. I have a monthly salary, but that's about 157 SEK per hour if I divide the hours.
The long term problem is people are saving to invest not buying to invest.
I haven't really thought about it like that before to be honest, but I can totally see your point.
