The only truth is the reality- La única verdad es la realidad

I heard this phrase for the first time many years ago from the mouth of a very influential political leader in my country, so much so that the party he founded more than 75 years ago continues to manage national politics.

However, the phrase is good and although it may seem like a truism to some, it makes good sense and is usable on various occasions.

Like in these moments when the cryptocurrencies led by bitcoin have suffered the greatest drop in percentage points than at any other time in their short history.

The euphoria of just two or three months ago has drained like water through our fingers and the fees charged at the time for bitcoin and Ethereum transactions reached all-time highs. The collapse and the reality bath have made it possible for those same enormous and even abusive commissions to collapse by up to 80%.

Speculation reached its peak when bitcoin touched $ 65,000 towards the end of April, but from then on the bubble burst and prices plummeted, in the same way, the commissions began to adapt to the new reality, the market was losing enthusiasm and pessimism was gaining it in the same proportion.

The truth is that the market cooled down, bullish speculation ended and reasonableness seems to prevail. According to major traders, the daily volume of cryptocurrency transactions has dropped by almost 60% since then. Even if they wanted to charge it, no one is willing to pay such a high commission for a transaction.

Meanwhile, the storm continues and several of the financial entities of the main countries of the world, including the Federal Reserve of the United States and the Bank of Japan, take the opportunity to criticize cryptocurrencies and add confusion and discouragement.

The only truth is reality and right now only gold smiles.

Esta frase la escuché por primera vez hace muchos años de boca de un dirigente político muy influyente en mi país, tanto que el partido que fundó hace más de 75 años continúa manejando la política nacional, así nos va.

Sin embargo, la frase es buena y aunque a algunos les parezca una verdad de Perogrullo tiene buen sentido y es utilizable en diversas oportunidades.

Como en estos momentos cuando las criptomonedas lideradas por el bitcoin han sufrido la mayor caída en puntos porcentuales que en ningún otro momento de su corta historia.

La euforia de hace tan solo dos o tres meses se ha escurrido como el agua entre los dedos y las comisiones que se cobraban en ese momento para transacciones de bitcoin y Ethereum alcanzaron máximos históricos. El derrumbe y el baño de realidad han posibilitado que esas mismas enormes y hasta abusivas comisiones se derrumbaran hasta en un 80%.

La especulación llegó a su máximo cuando el bitcoin rozó los 65.000 dólares hacia finales del mes de abril, pero a partir de allí la burbuja se pinchó y los precios se desplomaron, de la misma manera las comisiones comenzaron a adecuarse a la nueva realidad, el mercado perdía entusiasmo y el pesimismo lo ganaba en idéntica proporción.

La verdad es que el mercado se enfrió, la especulación alcista terminó y la razonabilidad parece imponerse. Según importantes operadores, el volumen diario de transacciones de criptomonedas ha descendido casi en un 60% desde aquel momento. Aunque quisieran cobrarla, ya nadie esta dispuesto a pagar una comisión tan elevada por una transacción.

Mientras tanto la tormenta continúa y varias de las entidades financieras de los principales países del mundo entre las que se cuentan la Reserva Federal de Estados Unidos y el Banco de Japón aprovechan para criticar a las criptomonedas y agregar confusión y desánimo.

La única verdad es la realidad y en estos momentos solo el oro sonríe.
