If there is anything we cannot get rid of as long as our finances are concerned, it is the uncertainty that comes with our finances. Therefore, it's often scary to think about the future when our account balance is red or on the brink of dwindling. It takes away our happiness, and our sense of security and replaces it with stress.

This helps them achieve long-term financial goals and make the move toward financial independence possible.

In a truer sense, one needs to have a healthy account balance to be able to achieve financial stability. Why? It's said that a healthy account balance helps you run financial checks and balances by managing your expenses, paying bills on time, and avoiding overdrafts, or other late payment penalties.

I don't know about other people but I find myself restless and almost overthinking whenever it seems as though my financial obligations won't be met or will be delayed. For instance, once the due date for my debt is close and I cross-check all of the available funds and it doesn't look like enough, I start panicking.

Imagine someone else who had every fund needed to fill the gap created by our debts, he or she wouldn't panic as I would.

I discovered towards the end of last year, that what I needed wasn't to panic. It was to lay down all of those payments and create a consistent and efficient plan on how to tackle each one. It worked.

What I learned was that having a plan in place allows you to have financial strength whether you are financially buoyant or not. This would be because you can see clearly what the future holds through your plans and any uncertainty that arises will be well taken care of since you had a plan.

What I got from creating a plan, was peace of mind. Regardless of the waves that pass by throughout a certain time, I wasn't moved or shaken because my plan was solid and I was honor bound to see to it that I accomplish them.
