The future of money doesn't lie with just fiat currency, and this is because I feel that technology is advancing. Fiat currency is prone to spoilage, manipulation, thievery and the constant update of the looks, the impact of inflation, the manipulation by corrupt government official, it's potentials to manipulate electoral results, and it's inability to really retain value for a long period of time makes it flawed.

One of the characteristics of money is being able to retain value overtime, or measure worth for what it's being exchanged with. Back in the days in Nigeria. Trade by barter or cowries were used as legal tenders and means of exchange, but it wasn't sustainable because sometimes it wasn't enough to really measure or equate accurate monetary value.

When it comes to saving, it wouldn't just be putting some notes away in a heavily guarded place. Apart from the fact that it is bland, money shouldn't be conventional or meant to serve only the purpose of spending, or seen as just a legal tender. It should be means of exchange, it should serve as an investment scheme, it can serve as means of ownership, it should be flexible, not having to be in the form of paper or coins alone.

It should be able to yield one enough profits by just holding it alone and one's ability to earn it doesn't have to be conventional as well. One of the tools used to control the minority is creating a sense of scarcity by narrowing down the ways through which money can be earned. Currently, one of those ways is making some particular jobs only available to some specific kind of people irrespective of their input or what they can offer.

Another is seeing degrees as the only measure to capacity, while another one is using connection or experience to keep a nation's wealth in the hands of a few. Mostly this happens because money's only format is in fiat hence, makes it rather easier to be manipulated. Currently, I believe that a lot of things can be called money.

From time, to one's ability to communicate, to the ability to share elistic intuition. We are already seeing how futuristic money can be through the progress and innovation of cryptocurrency, I believe crypto hasn't even reached its full potentials and I also believe it wouldn't just become legals tenders in so many economies of the world, I believe it'll answer some question and solve real-time issues that will come to be difficult for fiat currency.

Let us not underestimate technology, the only limit to how far we can experience its evolution is due to mortality. For me, I believe that money will become more flexible, things such as time, might even go ahead to be seemed as real-time money and this is because to make money you eventually need time, irrespective of whatever outcome, and it'll come to a period where having time will be seen as essential commodity.

Another thing is having prospects. In Nigeria, for example, having a business idea without having money is as good as having nothing. Each and every day, companies steal people's business ideas for further financial gains. The truth however is that a person who comes up with a business idea is an entrepreneur in the making, but sometimes the people with the means rob these people off these ideas.

A lot of people's concept are stolen every day, some big brands are taking advantage of people who are offering their concepts in exchange for employment and expanding their business. In the future, having a creative business concept will and should definitely be seen as money and can be exchangeable for other forms of money as a result of the provision of this means.

Monetarily value measured in other format other than fiat will create more opportunities for people to actually be able to take advantage of other platforms available to them in other to make money. It's going to take away a lot of economic restrictions. Crypto is doing this already, making the layman wealthy as a result of his simple choices with the limit Money they can put in.
