I don't think cashapp is legit in Nigeria people either uses VPN and someone outside the country opens the account and give them back to use.
And you're definitely right about something, onboarding is easy when an onboarding process becomes interactive, I think speaking technics in a more relatable manner makes it rather easier. But then cashapp seems really easy I guess for a new beginner, you'll recommend
