Spreading The Love

Justin made great strides since last week by powering up a significant amount. If there is any question that my first choice for this initiative is the correct one, you only have to look to @justinparke's delegation choices. Clearly he is very interested in supporting the community by delegating to various initiatives. He has delegated over half of his total hive power.

Supporting Content Outside of Your Circle

Over time we all build circles of people we follow and support. Many of us just don't have the time to hunt for new content creators and get them energized about participating here. That's where delegation and trail voting curation initiatives come in. You don't need to delegate half of your stake away like Justin here, but what about a few percent? Some initiatives like @ocdb and @curangel will even give you a return! In supporting these initiatives by delegating or trail following, you are enlisting several sets of eyes to search out and support content on your behalf.

Continuing to accumulate Hive

Over the past week or so I've bought about 5k HIVE, all with powered down STEEM. The last couple of power downs I've just kept the majority in BTC, as I still think that HIVE will take some wild swings. If not I'm okay with that, I consider what I have as enough, and am still branching out into other projects, so there is opportunity cost for me every time I buy more HIVE.
