So here I am again with a post that hopefully will clarify some things and maybe add some new knowledge :)

Airdrops!

Everyone loves free money right?

Where do we learn about AirDrops?

Usually we learn about new Airdrops from people/friends we follow on social media, from newsletters, from advertisements, etc ...

Maybe also from websites?

Today I discovered a website that has a bunch of Airdrops ...

Airdropforall.io

I am always super suspicious (maybe more than I should be) - however there some things that I check when I enter a new interesting website..

This seems a legitimate site, and I will tell you why

  • It is a very well made site, people have devoted time and money for it
  • It has social media channels with a massive number of followers
  • It has a Contact section and an email
  • It has FAQs and an instant channel for support (telegram)

So I decided to check it frequently, maybe even join their newsletter

Should we trust all Airdrops?

Free money is cool but we can be fool for it

First we need to know what an AirDrop is NOT

(1) - It is NOT an Airdrop when someone asks you to deposit an amount of crypto, so that you can receive it multiplied

(2) - It is NOT an Airdrop when someone you dont know sends you a message asking you to disclose all your personal information, i.e. create a new exchange account

(3) - It is NOT an Airdrop if you are not sure that it is actually an Airdrop

(4) - Don't be afraid to ask if you are unsure whether you should trust it or not

Airdrops from Biiiig Companies

Make sure that the airdrop is also officially announced through their own official channels. Be very much careful, because the scammers may even fake a facebook page (using their name and profile photo - take a good look at all the information)

Airdrops from new projects

Check out their community, their team, their website - dont enter if there is not any social channel If they are posting on the social channels, take a good look at the comments by users and also the reviews Check out their team, are they real persons? Do they have personal profiles? If you are unsure, send them an email or try to contact them - see how they will reply!

Referrals?

Some Airdrops provide also referral links, so if you will participate make sure that you let your friends know and you may use your ref for some extra $$

Attention though -

Please make sure that you let your friends know that it is a referral link, I hate it when people try to make me do something without informing me it is a referral. I can always look for it and not use it if I wish :)

And something else, if you find a cool project - ask your friends - do they have a ref for it? It's nice to help them and of course they will appreciate it in the future!
