The LeoAlpha project's aim is to spotlight the best content posted to Leofinance, and promote these posts to external audiences. Here is a look at some of the great content we have put the spotlight onto over the last week.

Cronos tutorial.

Early in the week, @revisesociology produced this excellent guide to getting started on the Cronos chain - a new EVM established by Crypto.com. The post starts with a quick introduction, and a look at some of the returns on offer - like 600% APR on a CRO/DAI pool. Then it gives a great walk through of the steps to get started and participate on this chain. @revisesociology concludes their post as follows:

Whether this particular DEX takes off I don't know, but it's got an easy to use interface, cheap fees and good integration with the Crypto.com app, so for me it's worth parking some CRO and stables here to earn some CRX.

Crypto.com has certainly been in the news this week, with this new chain and the mega-sponsorship deal to rename the iconic Staples center to "Crypto.com arena" catching major attention. These developments have certainly been positive for the price of CRO, up 62% over the last 7 days according to Coingecko. With that sort of performance, and enhanced utility for CRO it may be worth checking out the post and taking a punt on the new Cronos platform.

D.A.O's starting to gear up

The growing shift to Decentralized Autonomous Organizations has certainly been a theme of late in the wider crypto community. In this post, @taskmaster4450 dives in to this trend, and takes a deeper look into this growing movement.

We can expect the use of the DAO to start gearing up. This is only the beginning and, as cryptocurrency spreads, we are going to see billions of dollars available for many different purposes. Some will be set up to make even more money while others to pursue the values the community members embrace.

I'm sure this trend will continue to be covered in detail over the coming months. Constitution DAO, though ultimately missing out on its goal, gave us a taste of what's to come. Could 2022 be the year of the DAO?

The Dood talk about his Punks

There were numerous posts about the launch of @punksonhive over the week, with people sharing their thoughts and the punks they minted. @the-bitcoin-dood's post caught attention. The NFT craze has many confused, and lots of crypto people have missed the boat. It seems you either love them, or don't get the hype.

I'm the retard for not having the foresight. I should have known, I should have seen it coming, I should have bought a few when they first came out... JUST IN CASE!

I think many of us in crypto can relate to this statement by the Dood, I know I can. Which is probably why so many of us on Hive FOMO'd into @themarkymark's project, with a "shut up and take my HIVE" attitude, and are now wondering what to do with our newly acquired Punks.

Brave's in-built crypto wallet

Many in the Leo community, and crypto people in general, are fans of the Brave browser and $BAT. I can remember ages ago, @khaleelkazi talking about picking up a bunch around $0.20. With the price of BAT now around $1.11, accumulating BAT has been nice over the last year or two. The wallet functions added to the browser were spotlighted by @bitcoinflood in this post

Overall the wallet seems promising and is a welcomed change to the Brave browser. I'll be interested to see where they move to next as they start to directly team up and integrate with Solona.

If you don't use the Brave browser, do you even Crypto Bro?

Eos community vs Block.one

EOS has been a project that has long been big on promise. From a massive ICO through to today, it seems to have never lived up to the hype. In this post, @forexbrokr takes a look at what's happening in the community, and a seeming split between the EOS community, and Block.one. Personally, I found this fascinating reading.

“This break is needed for a narrative and a branding shift to occur, so there is a clear delineation that EOS does not equal Block.one,” added La Rose, making it completely clear that his community backed foundation squarely blames Block. One for the network’s failure.

It will be interesting to see if the EOS community actually try to fork out Block.one, I'm sure @forexbrokr will keep us updated.

Skippie Meme token launches

Full disclosure here up-front, I have made a small investment in this project, so I may be biased. DYOR. What could be more Alpha for the Leofinance community than getting in at the launch of a brand new Meme token, being launched by a member of our very own community. Fellow Aussie @melbourneswest has launched this "Memecoin" on Binance Smart Chain.

It has been a great experience and learning curve which has helped me gain a larger knowledge base of how tokens work and what block chain technology is all about. Fingers crossed this works out well for everyone and I look forward to seeing Skippy hopping all over the world with you!

No pressure mate, but 20 cents SKP makes me a millionaire - I expect nothing less. In reality, I have no expectation, and chucked a little play money at this to back a mate having a go. Really, really Do Your Own Research on this one.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks highlight post. Follow @leoalpha here on Hive, and on Twitter where we re-blog and Tweet out several great posts, everyday.
