Go to coingecko.com and sign up for an account. Only need to use an email.

Once logged in, in the upper right, there is something that looks like a cupcake (it will have a red dot on it). Click on it and you will get to claim your CANDIES.

It can be done every 24 hours.

$HIVE at $1.64 right now.

Another push higher. This truly is getting ridiculous. While it is fun to talk about, this might be getting way ahead of itself.

Any ideas of what could be driving it?

Some have theorized that it could be the push to load up before the airdrop snapshot. I am not sure that is the reason.

I would say maybe there is a major whale involved but it seems like a lot of the volume is still Korean.

I had to refresh my screen to be sure of what I was seeing. If it is them loading up before the airdrop, it may mean this will go on for quite awhile yet until then. Somebody jokingly said it could hit $2.00 not by the end of the year, but the end of the week! I still remember 2017, and the run we had back then. Could we be seeing a repeat?

Yeah but it is happening without the rest of the market.

A lot of it coming out of Korea.

I amgine when the rest of the market plays in we will see crazy price action. I want to bet on that...hive will get more traction soon enough

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

1

Hard to tell what the price action will do but the development and innovation continues which will be a powerful thing.

A lot of good stuff happening with the ecosystem. We just all need to keep doing our part.

Yesteday the ATH for HIVE was USD 1.580, and CoinGecko ranked it #185.

Before posting this comment I saw that sometime today HIVE achieved and ATH of USD 1.940, HIVE was at USD 1.780, and CoinGecko ranked it #169.

Yes it will keep working its way up the listing if the price keeps going. However, none of that matters in the long term because this is going to be parabolic at some point.

We have no idea when but the price of HIVE will hit double figures.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

Yes I saw that last night, and am amazed that it keeps advancing. It's getting us more positive attention, and that's a good thing. LEO is up as well.

This price doesn't surprise me yet, with all the recent developments I'm not surprised,I know at a certain point this price will push but not this fast.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

2

I am not sure it is much though. Just more Korean activity. I would feel more confident at the sustainability at the move if it were more widespread.

That said, big moves do get the attention of people and if it is pushing the volume up on Binance, it could be helping.

You know crypto; it's always going to do what people least expect. Just when everyone was starting to get comfortable with the pumps and dumps, it quit dumping. As soon as everyone starts thinking it's just going to run straight to $10, it will drop 50%.

Like I said last week, you all can thank me for it continuing to pump because after watching the pump and dumps forever and not doing anything, I finally decided to try and trade a little. Thankfully it was only 100 HIVE and I have already gotten 50 of it back at a small "loss". The other 40ish are still sitting as HBD. lol

Like I said yesterday, TA says this could still go a lot higher. You have to remember how looonnngggg Hive has traded below $1. When things like that break out, there's a lot of pent up energy waiting to be released.

This has also been one of those tokens that everyone wants to own more of but can't seem to pull the trigger on buying it. So, now that it's running, people are scrambling to get more.

Where are the sellers going to come from? Most of the people who are active here did their selling just over $1, if they were selling at all. That said, the 7 day power down plays a factor. I haven't checked the numbers (if someone wanted to look those up I think they'd be interesting), but this run to the ATH is only 24-48 hrs old. It will be a few more days before whales get liquid to sell it back down. We'll see. I haven't seen the on exchange/off exchange numbers lately either.

No matter what, it's fun to see green candles and ATHs on something we've been HODLing for so long.

Of course, as usual, we'll see the return of what I call the "Boomerang Hivers." You know, the type that flees when the HIVE price falls, and then makes a dramatic return with the "I'm back!" posts, when the price pumps.

Either way, it's all hands on deck now. We need more content and engagement to make the most of this opportunity, and hopefully attract (and retain) long-term members to our tribe.

Hahahaha they are the ones that make so much hype, I know who they are lately I have seen many zombies wake up.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

1

Really? I havent seem many of them but then again, I do most of my stuff on Leofinance and I dont think that is as prevalent as Hive in general.

Well some of the people I know in my town did go back to hive this week.

Of course they came to Hive and communities like GEMS.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It is like clockword.

$HIVE pumps and they all rush back here not realizing how much better they would have been if they just stayed.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

1

I think people are starting to believe in hive again, couple with other developments and news. I won't be surprised if we hit $5-$8. What I am scared of is the pull back. It would be crazy. Time to take those HBDs. I want to be a dolphin when this ends

Posted using LeoFinance Mobile

0

The goal of being a dolphin is not bad at all, I am seeing the value of my portfolio increase considerably and although the pullback will be hard and many will leave again, at least we now know all that HIVE can do which is much better than STEEM is now.

The later chain shouldnt even be discussed. It is the past, no need to even acknowledge it.

We are on the path toward the top 50. That should be our first focus.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

Right, well it's currently at 127th place and with the features it has that are like ethereum or others where it can be built it can climb up to the top 20 in about 2 to 5 years, anything is possible.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It is The Chain Whose Name Will Never Be Mentioned (aka That Chain, That Other Chain, or That Other [email protected]#$#@! Chain).

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

Is it people believing in HIVE again, or is it South Korean traders doing their thing to take advantage of arbitrage at the various crypto exchanges there? I don't mind if it's the South Koreans-- God bless them! But other people believing in HIVE would be great if only we knew who they are.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

The Koreans are at it again.

So I wouldnt put too much into the viability of this move in the medium term.

To me, this is not the parabolic move that we will end up seeing.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

There will be a pullback at some point. Markets never go straight up, especially in cryptocurrency. We could see a drop back towards a dollar.

That does not change the long-term outlook for Hive in my opinion.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

That said, the 7 day power down plays a factor.

Hive has a 13 week power down. So not sure where the 7 days comes from.

As for the sentiment of the post, you are right. Buy the dip works until it doesnt. Pump and dump is valid, until there is no dump.

I wrote elsewhere, there will be a time when this will go parabolic. We just do not know when.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

1

That shows how many times I've powered down. lol Zero. So how does it work then? 25% every ...?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

0

7 days for payout, but 13 weeks for power down with equal portions in each week.
