We have said many times here on Liotes how our tokenomics is working and also what are the good sides and the bad sides of having a token on Hive-Engine... I have to admit that I saw many tokens there that have "changed the rules" many times... I'm talking about changing some fundamental things about the token, like the supply and distribution of tokens... The second one isn't that big problem if you change distribution but keep the same amount of minted tokens per day (for example)...

The problem is when token creators start to mint (print) additional tokens, just because they need some money... By doing that they are killing their own tokenomics (if it existed at all), doing big harm for those loyal and honest investors that have bought, or worked out their tokens during the past... I saw that many times, and unfortunately, I'm still seeing that... In the end, people are asking why their token is losing so much value? The answer is simple: If one hand is burning 1000 tokens, and the other one is minting 10K, what do you think where the price will go?

On Liotes, we have 2 tokens... A miner token, LENM which are "producing" LEN tokens... When some token is launched the creators have few options on how to distribute them... One of them is doing an airdrop, which means that INITIAL tokens are distributed according to some rule... For example, every LEO token holder receives an X amount of the new token...

The other way is what I have named "Slowdrop" where there are no previously distributed tokens and the token starts from ZERO... We are proud to say that EVERY single LEN token is created by STAKED Liotes Miners (LENM)! In that way, the game is fair and the early supporters (you) are rewarded the most...

Check out the video for more pros and cons about these two ways of distributing tokens...
