SWEDEN doing better. // COVID 19

I still have Covid so i might as well write a few more posts about it while im still special. lol

As many of you might know i hate mainstream media. I hate them so much that if i had a choice of saving the life of a bag full of snakes or a room full CNN anchors, id save the snakes. At least you have a use for snakes. They eat pests.
So im not really surprised seeing the mainstream media mentioning Sweden anymore. I actually havent heard anything about Sweden for a few months.

Why?

Well because the media is leftist and the leftists made COVID into a "Political topic". "Orange man bad." You guys in USA might think that CNN is a joke but you need to understand how powerful they are in Europe and rest of the world. Many of the world news reported on in smaller countries is based on info that comes from CNN.
So when COVID 19 becomes a political topic in US, it automatically becomes a political topic in a lot of places in the rest of the western world. Thus, you dont hear about the Swedish (let them die) "model" anymore.

I saw a few days ago that only 6% of deaths from COVID in US happened to patients that didnt have any other known ailments. And the vast majority of deaths are above the age of 60.
So what does that tell you about the Swedes?

Well, they understood that you cant really stop it. The disease will spread anyway. You can hurt the economy, hurt everyone else, lose lives over other diseases because of the implemented restrictions or just continue living life but more responsibly.

Now, if you look at their charts, a shit ton of people died there. Almost 6000 people on a 10mil population.

But their daily cases are starting to drop drastically. Is it due to low number of tests, etc. i dont know, but its dropping as well as their death counts.
For comparison take my country of Croatia. It has little less then 5mil people, half that of Sweden. During summer we have about 500k more due to tourists.
While 6000 people died in Sweden in Croatia we only had 197 deaths and had 8x less cases.
But our chart looks like this.

A consistent rise in cases. In the last month the cases doubled. At a point we had 0 cases and now even im sick. lol Question really is, now that wer trying to normalize life, are we headed in the same direction of Sweden? Were the restrictions just buying some time?

Its sad that the leftist media doesnt want to talk about Sweden now that wer trying to determine the best course of action.

If you want my opinion.... We wont know if what Sweden did was smart or extremely foolish before the end of 2021. Will we have a vaccine? If so then the Swedes royally fucked it up.
If not then the whole world will have to go through what Sweden went through in the first year.
There really is no best way to deal with it.

Not until it all ends can we judge who guessed right. But in the end, it was just a guess.
No political party knew best and no choice made was the right one at the time, it was simply "a choice".
