Hello dear friends, today I am pleased to join the <a href=initiative proposed by @theycallmedan and the @LeoFinance to tell you about my experience with crypto and how it has impacted my finances.
Hola queridos amigos, hoy me complace unirme a la <a href=iniciativa propuesta por @theycallmedan y los amigos de @LeoFinance para contarles mi experiencia en cuanto a las criptomonedas y como éstas han impactado en mis finanzas.
I must confess that my personal history with crypto is really new, I don't even have a year, but in such a short time, it has been of great help to my personal and family economy.
To tell the truth, I didn't know anything else about crypto except that bitcoin existed (I knew only that) and that its value was quite high, without knowing that bitcoin was just one of many that already existed. My first encounter with blockchain technology and crypto came with Hive, because I had been looking for a way to earn money on the Internet, since I was unemployed at the time.
Debo confesar que mi historia personal con las criptomonedas es realmente nueva, no tengo ni siquiera un año, pero en tan corto tiempo, estas han sido de ayuda importante para mi economía personal y familiar.
A decir verdad, no sabía nada más de cripto salvo que existía el bitcoin (solo esa conocía) y que su valor era bastante elevado, sin saber que el bitcoin era tan solo una de muchas que ya existían. Mi primer encuentro con la tecnología blockchain y las cripto llegó con Hive pues había estado buscando un medio que me permitiera ganar dinero por internet, ya que para ese momento me encontraba desempleada.

I remember that I saw some videos about how to join, how to publish, in short, some basic things, but I still didn't know what a blockchain was or what a token was, so I started reading, researching to know where I had come to. Soon I began to understand that this technology would mark my life in a before and after.
Recuerdo que vi algunos videos de cómo unirse, cómo publicar, en fin, unas cosas básicas, pero aún no sabía en qué consistía una cadena de bloques o qué era un token, así que comencé a leer, a investigar para saber a dónde había llegado. Al poco tiempo comencé a entender que esta tecnología marcaría mi vida en un antes y un después.
In Venezuela, the culture of cryptocurrency is not very deep-rooted, it is thought that you have money if you have dollars or if you have bolivars to buy dollars, but the digital coin’s concept is still not very clear for some, and for me it was the same until I arrived here.
En Venezuela, la cultura de las criptomonedas no está muy arraigada, se piensa que se tiene dinero si tienes dólares o si tienes bolívares para comprar dólares, pero eso de monedas digitales, aún no está muy claro para algunos, y para mí era igual hasta que llegué aquí.
I studied to be a nurse and for many years I practiced my career with a true vocation, but it came to a point that what I earned was not even enough to move to my place of work, so I very bravely quitted and started this adventure in the blockchain, in addition to starting a new vocation with graphic and advertising design.
Estudié para ser enfermera y por muchos años ejercí mi carrera con verdadera vocación, pero llegó un punto que lo que ganaba no alcanzaba ni siquiera para trasladarme a mi sitio de trabajo, así que muy valientemente renuncié y comencé esta aventura en la blockchain, además de iniciar una nueva vocación con el diseño gráfico y publicitario.
I have always considered myself a saver, but at one point and because of the economy of my country, I discarded that idea and began to live the here and now. Today, I can return to that savings mentality and also have money for my personal expenses, those of my house and thinking in the future, invest in my computer which is the one that allows me to access this whole world of the blockchain.
Siempre me he considerado una persona ahorrativa, pero en un punto y por la economía de mi país, deseché esa idea y comencé a vivir el aquí y el ahora. Hoy por hoy, puedo volver a esa mentalidad de ahorro y además disponer de dinero para mis gastos personales, los de mi casa y pensando a futuro, invertir en mi computadora que es la que me permite acceder a todo este mundo de las cadenas de bloques.
All this has been possible thanks to the cryptocurrencies, which have also allowed me to have a wider vision of the world economy, we are no longer subject to physical money, the world moves forward and with it its economy. In this world of blockchain and crypto I feel totally free to manage my finances with the assurance that the money I save will not be devalued so quickly with what could happen to my country's currency.
Todo esto ha sido posible gracias a las criptomonedas, las cuales también me han permitido tener una visión más amplia de la economía mundial, ya no estamos sujetos al dinero físico, el mundo avanza y con él su economía. En este mundo de la blockchain y las cripto me siento en la total libertad de manejar mis finanzas con la seguridad de que el dinero ahorrado no se devaluará tan rápidamente como podría pasar con la moneda de mi país.
In Hive, there is something for everyone, I get by with travel and music and that is the focus of most of my content and here I have also learned the importance of investing in thinking of others and thus make a certain community grow. If the community grows, the users who make life in it will grow too.
Yes, the crypto and the world of the blockchain has impacted my life positively, I start to reflect where I would be today if it wasn't for Hive and I don't get an answer. From here I make my living doing simply what I like, combining my love for music, travel and the digital world, all this world has allowed me to be successful, and I know that there is still much to discover.
En Hive hay para todos los gustos, yo me desenvuelvo bien con los viajes y la música y en eso se centra la mayor parte de mi contenido y aquí he aprendido también la importancia de invertir pensando en otros y de esa manera hacer que una determinada comunidad crezca. Si la comunidad crece, los usuarios que hacen vida en ella, también lo harán.
Si, las criptomonedas y el mundo de la blockchain ha impactado mi vida positivamente, me pongo a reflexionar dónde estaría actualmente de no ser por Hive y no consigo la respuesta. Desde acá me gano la vida haciendo simplemente lo que me gusta, combinando mi amor por la música, los viajes y el mundo digital, todo este mundo me ha permitido ir cosechando éxitos y sé que aún falta mucho por descubrir.
