Today i tested the Leo-Metamask feature

Hello LeoLions Today I tested the new feature of collecting a Leo reward to ETH in my Metamask I claimed a 139LEO reward to ETH.

Swapp

139.799 LEO -> 144.266 HIVE -> 0.057 ETH (HIVE = 0.000401 ETH). 0.000378 ETH was used to pay for the ETH transaction So 30 minutes and 0.15 USD fee to transfer 21USD worth of LEO as ETHEREUM in my Metamask and all i did was 1 click! I have to say it's a big step forward but it also comes with a price.

PROS AND CONS

When getting money out is SO convenient well it could hurt LEO in the Long run. I mean Its a fantastic catch to bring new members - investors in LEO and this is all we need to focus on now. The metamask feature will hurt LEO if LEO stays as it is
The metamask feature will benefit LEO if it becomes a TOOL to bring new members - investors - ETH Users, etc. I will later try to make my ETH finds to LEO to see if the process is as easy as the opposite was.

Bottomline

Don't get me wrong, I love the convenience and I love the feature and I don't want to sound pessimistic. And I congrats the Leadership for this update only 5-6 days after the hack! It can be a great win for LEO as long as we all use this tool to bring more people. JOIN - BLOG - EARN is more powerful now to use as it ever was.
