What a year 2021 was we saw Bitcoin peak to new levels, the Securities and Exchange Commission legalise ETF's and further legal and technological advancements within the crypto space. We did experience a significant dip in May on the back of China outlawing Cryptocurrency and a number of Asian countries confiscating mining equipment and destroying it.

All that feels like a distant memory as Mining firms relocated to the United states and we watched US states battle it out over who will becoming the crypto centre. New York, Miami and Texas seem to be the front runners and if I had my choice I'd probably pick Miami, I have always been in love with Miami but Texas is probably the smarter option. As for New York, well I live in Melbourne a capital city of Australia and where the Big Apple is enticing it also gets pretty cold there in winter. I'd prefer to be sipping Espresso Martini's on the beach in between setting up mining rigs. Argh one can dream!

Balancing the Books

If you're like me, the end of the year means it's time to start getting those books in order and viewing my investments over the past 12 months and reassessing my position. I always want to enter the new year with a sound plan and a goal in mind. They don't always work out and I often find myself risking into some weak positions and the inevitable occurs. But that's what taking risks is all about and without that risk you don't get reward.

#### Blue Chips There are also projects that could be regarded as Blue Chip and you're already probably thinking Bitcoin, Ethereum and probably BNB. Recently a few more have joined this rank with Solana and Terra Network with some of the emerging winners of 2021. It's always good to keep a look out for more of these rising stars and for 2022 I have one token in mind and that's Secret Network.

The Network it's self isn't much of a secret and the developers have been consistent with driving development and even had Quinten Tarantino produce some NFT's which caused controversy over whom owned the rights. Why am I Bullish on Secret in 2022?

The project itself is coming out of a bearish path and commencing an upward trajectory as news continues to break at the privacy coins business plan. I believe that the projects use case with hidden transactions unlike current block chains which leave everything open to anyone which can also lead to easier targeted hacks. Of course this will all depend on regulators agreement to accept that Crypto will need to be closed eventually as people literally have their bank accounts open and at risk.

Two core things have occurred that make Secret a key token to be bullish on in 2022 and the first is that they have finally reached mass capacity for validators with Domerium Labs taking the last available position as validator on the Secret Network source.

The other is that the wallet project Coin98 has commenced accepting Secret to be stored in their wallet for safe keeping source. The growing community is getting stronger which further indicates that Secret maybe a top contender in 2022.

So if you're looking for a safe, secure and relatively affordable token that has the potential to excel than look no further than Secret network.
