We gapped down pretty hard over the Labor Day weekend. My SPY trading system rules tell me to wait for a closing of the gap before getting in.
With the size of the move though, I decided to speculate and just buy one contract at the open that expires today in case we get a gap-and-run situation. I have a 40% trailing stop, which is just about break even right now.
Cheap insurance against missing a big move.

Update: I got stopped out on the bounce for a 0.02 loss.
