Found this while reading economic news.

Although it might benefit the environment in the long run (and that’s a VERY strong “might”) it is a prime example of how to cover with an “eco-friendly” blanket the fact that the economic indicators of each and every one of these corporations are not really good.

It also “implies” that the future as it is now is not so bright for them, so, merges, layoffs and price increases will happen in the future. But they will happen in the name of “global warming and the protection of biodiversity”, so people have no right to oppose them, ever!

Always read between the lines!

A new alliance has been set up to speed up energy transit in transport and logistics. The new alliance consists of the following companies: AWS, Carrefour Group, CMA CGM Group, Cluster Maritime Français, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Engie, Faurecia, Michelin, Schneider Electric, Total and Wärtsilä.

The aim is to accelerate the development of new energy and technology sources for a sustainable transport and logistics sector through
the parallel reduction of emissions, the fight against global warming and the protection of biodiversity.

These companies will combine their know-how in order to achieve their goal and by 2030 expand their portfolio of clean energy sources, reduce energy consumption in the transport of goods and achieve a significant reduction in emissions from the supply chain sector.
