HIVE Day 47: Celebrating my first 20K HIVE POWER! Next goal: 25K!

Today is day 47 of being on HIVE, so here's the latest news on my end.


It's quite an exciting day/week for me overall! I signed a huge new client at work, I finished up another project, I managed to invest in a few new areas (venture-capital / crowd-investing types), etc.

But my happiest point this week has been the fact that I FINALLY BROKE 20K HIVE POWER!

DAY 47 FINANCIALS: (05/23/2020)

  • Total HIVE Purchased: 19,772.529(bought 657.262 in the past week)
  • Total HIVE Owned: 20,161.197
  • HIVE Earnings to Date: 388.668
  • HIVE/HP Growth (from earnings) to Date: 1.966%
  • HBD On Hand: 6.137
  • Current Active Lease APR Yield (DLease.io Leases): 0% (no active leases)

    • Current Delegations:

    0HP (have recalled all delegated HP, which should finalize the reset tomorrow some time).

    I decided to change my strategy up for the next month, so I could track and analyze some stats over time, helping me to optimize long-term growth.

    I plan to re-delegate HP after this month is over, in an optimized fashion after studying all data gathered.

    I am ALSO now leasing some extra HP!

  • Currently leasing: 10,000 HP (rate is ~13.1%)

    • These leases are set to expire in ~7 days, and I probably won't lease any further.

    Current Voting Power: 0.326 @ 100% (will grow double+ once recalled delegations reset)


    Some final thoughts on my current position:

    Now that we've broken the support line (~0.3-0.32), i'm going to probably hold off on further buys right away - until i can identify new patterns and figure out the best price I should be entering new orders at.

    Because I've been dollar-cost averaging, my current overall net purchase rate has risen to ~ $0.219 each. Currently, my account is sitting at ~ 35.76% profit / $1,578.39 gain, since first entering HIVE.

    In terms of HBD, I was previously converting it (on-chain, not exchanging). However, I think now I'm going to stack up a bit of HBD as a "stablecoin" sort of investment to boost liquidity a bit. I'll also be looking to enter buy orders for anything under $0.90/ea.
