Do Hive needs re branding?

When I hear Hive as a social media/blogging platform it look to me a understatement. Look like true potential of Hive is yet not understood. I agree that since people/users are interacting here,sharing their stories,engaging with each other and forging friendship and camaraderie with each other. All these activities make Hive a social media but is Hive limited to this only?

Hive has plenty of groups where people are engaging with others to bring the change like clenplanet that is really working towards objective of protecting the environment. We also have tribes like chary that are working for charity cause.

You have Leofinance to discuss the financial matters and tribe CTP to discuss the business in general.If you are aspiring/seasoned writer then there are communities like freewritehouse,PowerHouse Creatives and Inkwell etc where you can engage and interact.

There are Communities like stemgeeks that are dedicated to technical/science stuff. We have communities dedicated to games/sports.We have communities dedicated to Arts and so on.

I think you will find the communities in accordance to your interest. Still you are unable to find the community of your interest then you can yourself create one for that specific purpose.

On top of it, interaction in Hive can have monetary value too.

Do you think that instead of referring Hive as "Social Media/Blogging Platform" we should refer and re brand Hive as "Complete Social Economic Forum" ?
