Tokens I'm thinking of Buying More of.....

I've come up with a useful way of giving people some strictly not financial advice about investing in Crypto - simply by telling them, if they ask, what I'm looking to accumulate more of for long term HODLs.

I've worked this out based on what I want more of in relation to what I've already got, in dollar terms.

(Hence if I've got $1000 of token A and am looking to double my holdings in dollar terms, I'd say I'm prioritising that more than a new token I'm looking to pick up another $1000 of).

I'd also point out the following:

  • These are long term hodls not short term gains.
  • This what I'm doing NOW based on 4 years of being in crypto.
  • I'm dollar cost averaging in, I'm a bit clueless as to whether
  • DYR
  • I'm not advising you to do ANYTHING in relation to crypto.
  • Anything you invest in crypto can go down to zero.
  • A least in one case (you know what coin I'm talking about!) - it's not all about the money.

That said, IF I get in a conversation about crypto with someone I see nothing wrong with telling them what I'm buying more of and why.

TLDR - I'm looking to accumulate more of the following, roughly in this order:

  • SPS
  • Splinterlands cards
  • Stables (staked)
  • Hive
  • BNB
  • RAIDER (CryptoRaiders)
  • Litecoin (changed my mind about this one recently!)
  • Bitcoin (obviously?!)
  • AVX and/ or the next FRESH DEFI protocol coin

SPS - SplinterShards tokens

I can't see how value within Splinterlands isn't going to flow towards SPS in the long term (a year or two) - ATM it's got VERY limited use cases, just for bonuses, but in the future I think this is going to be the anchor token of the whole game-system, especially for LAND.

I want a minimum 500K SPS before the end of 2022. Ideally I'll have at least 1 Million by the time the print has stopped in five years.

Splinterlands Cards

Even with LAND coming out, these cards are still going to be the backbone of the game, forming the basis of playing and, for me, renting. Re-investing in some is a no brainer!

For me I'm looking to stack up on Legendaries and Epics and a few GOLD commons and rares - getting enough to Max the cards, but only levelling them up to lower levels, so Maxies in waiting kind of!

Stables

This should speak volumes, number three on my list is stables - staked. I like a bit of security in crypto, and I'm happy to have a diversified stables portfolio yielding me 10-20%.

Some of this staked with other cryptos, like in the DEC BUSD pool!

HIVE - Target still has to be 100K

I do trade some DEC and various H-E tokens for Hive, so I am actually buying, but mostly I'll be aiming to earn my way up to 100K, I'm in no rush - end 2022 - and who knows, by that point I might be able to pick up my final 20K tokens for a few hundred dollars (I mean, this is Hive we're talking about, right?!?)

NB HIVE is the token that's not 'all about the money' I'm just happy to be here, for the most part!

BNB

I don't like BNB but at least for another year it's so useful for me, to pool with various other tokens.

Also, I can still see Binance Smart Chain sticking around in the DEFI space for years to come.

Litecoin and Bitcoin

The two originals, they just feel like 'proper' crypto and I'm happ to carry on buying both. I know I've been down on LTC before, but I've since changed my mind on this!

RAIDER and Crypto Raiders

CryptoRaiders is a great little game built on Polygon, with rapid development and great yields on the tokens, and increasing use cases for them.

One needs Aurum to buy more raids in the game and RAIDER staked yields you Aurum, and you can stake it with MATIC for a decent return.

Also one of the cutest things in crypto, and no ETH fees!

AVX or the next DEFI protocol coin

I think the future of DEFI is going to be one of several decentralised protocols that just work - AVX is still young so I think there's room for growth there and I'll be looking to pick up some more 'governance tokens' of various new protocols as they come on line.

Final Thoughts

For me my crypto strategy is really mostly about Splinterlands and then stables, DEFI a little more BTC and LTC and that's about it.

Simples!
