Arbitrage Opportunity Thanks To HiveEngine

So some of you might know about the (poor excuse for a)chain called Blart(Some call it Blurt, I prefer Blart). Now blart doesn't trade much. They are on a few exchanges, of of those being Hive-Engine and Ionomy. A few days ago, @deathwing realized that the price difference between the two could lead to a good opportunity to arbitrage some Paul Blarts. Now there was one problem, the hive-engine gateway was down. So depositing The Mall Cop Coin onto Hive-Engine wasn't possible. But earlier today, Barf's gateway opened up and @deathwing was one of the first ones to find out.

He saw that the arbitrage opportunity was still there and so we got to it. I did some math(poorly) and realized that the profit was pretty well and so we started doing it. Each of us put in 70 hive(yup, rookie numbers but we gotta start somewhere) and bought some Bloops on Ionomy. Then we withdrew them to the Burp chain and then moved them over onto Hive-Engine. Boom, nice profit of 40 Hive.

We asked some of our friends if they wanted in. Foxon got in and we did another round of arbitrage, netting us even more profit(somewhere around 110 hive).

Total we made 150 Hive. Not bad for my first time doing arbitrage. It was exciting and scary waiting for the deposit to go through and wondering if someone would dump onto the buy wall that we were selling into. As always, we didn't trade with funds we weren't willing to lose. I'll be keeping my eye out for more arbitrage opportunities in the future, especially with low volume tokens like Paul Blart Mall Cop.
