Ok, its 3 AM as I write this, I have multiple projects to finish and deadlines to meet but when something comes into my brain, I probably can't go to bed without putting whatever this mess is into writing.

Ok, so let's start rambling. Netflix = good. I thought it was bad and was going to end up losing subscribers because it was losing some shows I wanted to watch, but never mind all the external third party shows on Netflix. Where netflix excels is on its original first party content that they own.

I was watching How To Sell Drugs Online Fast and I gotta say, this thing is addicting. I started the first season today and it took about 3 hours to finish all of it. I considered starting Season 2, but I gotta get up and do some actual work in the morning so I stopped. But then I realized something. This show was a Netflix Original.

Then I started thinking about why I keep my Netflix subscription. Its not cuz I use it often, other than binging a show a month or show, I don't really watch too much Netflix. But what I watch is what got me thinking more about this.

My favorite shows on Netflix are: Stranger Things, Paradise Police, How To Sell Drugs Online Fast, Avatar, That 70s Show, Money Heist. Add onto that shows that I'm told to watch like Outer Banks, Lucifer. What do a lot of them have in common? They are netflix orignials(or netflix has taken over at a later season). Its something you'll need to get Netflix in order to watch it without pirating it.

Thats where they excel. They might be losing a lot of other great shows, but with their orignial content library growing rapidly and so well, I think they'll continue to do well into the future.

This is not advice, but the ramblings of a guy who's not a financial wizard or even that into finances at all and its being written at 3 god damn AM so please realize what you are reading might not make sense and do your own god damn research before making any financial decisions. I'm not responsible for you losing your hard earned money.
