For the past few months, I've avoided looking at how my stocks are doing. Normally I'd check daily(or at the very least multiple times a week) and usually put in some funds to purchase a few shares every month. But since March, I've stopped. Corona had wiped out all my unrealized gains and since then, I've fully been in the negatives. Now it's not a loss till I decide to sell so not all hope is lot yet.

I took another look recently at how I was doing and wish I hadn't. Still more red. The only things that are green are the shares bought from DRIP(they show up separately on my broker cuz I enabled margin around February). Everything else is red. I haven't bought(other than DRIP) anything since April and I have no plans on putting some more in until the world gets into a better position. With an election coming up and no end in sight to corona, I just feel like things are going to get worse.

I don't like to trade just because how volatile stuff can get(nothing compared to crypto though) and so I haven't tried to play the markets at all. Just sit back, relax and look at how badly my stocks are doing once every few weeks. Some weeks I feel like just selling everything. Spending that on a computer might be a better investment right now. Plus no gains at all so nothing goes to the taxman.
