We all know that Brave browser allows you to earn BAT for content you publish on the web. If you sign up as a verified content creator on Brave Rewards, the users who use the Brave brower are able to reward you. Initially it was your personal website where you could be verified as a content creator. Now, you can verify your Youtube and Twitch channels, Reddit and Twitter platforms as well.

I never owned a personal website. So, I could not be a verified publisher until the browser allowed Twitter and Reddit users to verify as a content creator. I have been using Brave browser for almost five months and have verified my Twitter and Reddit since then. But, I never received a tip or a reader contribution as reward.

And, unthinkable happened today.

I received a tip from our very own Brave representative @BraveSampson at twitter. I must say, it was a pleasant surprise on my part. Two things I want to highlight here:

Tipping system

I am a fan of Brave browser reward system despite the glitches and technical difficulties users face since the beginning. I have had a couple of issues and they are solved by the brave team. The 1 BAT tip @BraveSampson sent was received in my Uphold wallet in a matter of minutes. I was surprised by the speed and accuracy.

Token Potential

There are already around 17 million monthly users of Brave browser. I am just amazed with the true potential of BAT if/when the browser is adopted by the masses. It would definitely boost the value of the BAT token. Hope the dev team is working to create chat functionality in the browser itself.

If you use the Brave Browser and have a Twitter account. Here’s my Twitter account where you can tip my awesome, original tweets.
