I like your viewpoint. And, I also agree with the fact that blockchain technology and decentralization character it has will not be able to counterbalance the mega tech-giant like Facebook. But, it is our individual responsibility to make sure we are protecting our data and not surrender to these mega companies. It is our awareness and conscience to do right which will help us on the long run. I cannot imagine how things will pan out in the next decade but I hope I will make right decisions to remain on the right side of the fence. Really nice op-ed :)
