USSR investing deposits which were stolen and current reality!
Recently had a conversation with @abcbrew and @gengua regarding the investments. @gengua reminded me of the old soviet style way of investing in the children's future called "SberKnizhka" - translated like savings book.

I must say almost every ex USSR citizen lost all the money deposited there) LOL
My mother told me that my grandmother deposited something around 3K Roubles there when I was born, the idea was 16 YO I get at least 3x) Then the Soviet Union crashed and all the money disappeared.
There were some tries to return the deposits in conditions 1 by 1 to modern currency, even some politicians made out their career on this kind of promises. It all turned the way that some lucky people get 10% back and that's all.
New way of investments for children

Summary
