Hello everyone

This week has been a real roller coaster ride. If you’ve been following my posts, you already know my dads been in the hospital now for the last twelve days.

If this is the first post you are reading. My dads kidneys went into failure.

When first admitted my dads creatine number was a 7.9, which is ridiculously high. A normal range is .85-1.43. His doctor told us his kidney function was about 10%.

The good news is his number has come down dramatically. As of this morning his number was a 2.9.

He had a few setbacks this week, his number climbed two days during the week, and they don’t know why. He also had excruciating pain in his back and needed pain medicine for the first time.

Trying to juggles running a business and spending time at the hospital with him hasn’t been easy. It’s only me and my mom pulling that duty.

There is no ETA on him coming home. His numbers have to get below the 1.43 before they discuss that.
