SPInvest Pays Dividends

SPinvest is a tokenized investment fund/club for all users of social blockchains. Everyone is welcome! The concept of SPinvest is to get rich slowly by using time tested methods of earning, saving and compounding long term. This lets SPinvest offer monthly dividends. Like many of the tribes on Hive, SPInvest just celebrated its first birthday. A year ago, the investment club was launched with the intention of "getting rich slowly". The idea was to generate, through various investments and activities, an annual 20% return annually. A consistent return at this level, over a long enough period of time, would generate a great deal of wealth for those who are participating.

In the first year, the return was able to eclipse the 20%. The value of the assets held by SPInvest that back the token are now worth over 80% more than a year ago. This does not take into account what the token is trading for, which is significantly higher than the asset backed value.

There is an aspect to being a SPI token holder that most are not aware of. In fact, some SPI token holders are not even sure what is taking place.

This is one of those "goodies" that can happen in the crypto world. Here we see an individual who was not aware that he was eligible for the dividend program. The tokens were basically forgotten by him yet, each week, he is receiving liquid HIVE as payout for the tokens held.

It was decided to reward the token holders by giving back to them. While growing the baseline of SPI is important, it was determined by the club that not having everything locked up long term was preferable. Thus, each week, half of the liquid HIVE received is distributed to the token holders. The other half is kept in the club to help grow the value by investing in other areas.

Of course, none of this takes into account the appreciation in the price of the token on the open market. That is another growth area that token holders experienced thus far.

SPInvest is a prime example of what is taking place as we transition to a world of abundance as opposed to scarcity. Regular conversations occur among club members of different ways to create value for all who are involved. Individually, each facet might not provide that much yet, collectively, it all does add up.

At present, the community is very small. Therefore, there is room for a few more people, for those so inclined. Each day, for the next week, there will be some leftover tokens auctioned off by SPInvest. While the tokens are available on Hive-Engine, this is the remaining batch of undistributed tokens. They are going for prices slightly less than what they are selling for on Hive-Engine.

When they are gone, that is it. The only way to acquire SPI will be the open market since the total distribution is capped at 100,000. With continued growth in the assets being held along with the activity, the expectation is the tokens will keep increasing in price.

And it never hurts to receive a bit of liquid HIVE in your account each week.
