We are seeing some amazing presentations during Hivefest. When watching what was taking place, it became clear how simple it is to make money on Hive.

Let me explain.

It is evident we have some really smart people here. They are also as dedicated as the day is long. These two factors means we are going to see some amazing things emerging, regardless of the barriers put forth.

A prime example is the HivePunks released by @blockheadgames (Marky). This is something exciting and, during his presentation, he discussed all the back end development that went into it.

Of course, anyone who was buying the NFTs realized there were a few issues. It is clear this was focused upon by him as shown in this post. We can see a lot of effort went into trying to clear up the issues. Whatever the resolution, our NFTs are safe and Marky will deliver.

Hive Mind

This is not to be confused with the database layer on Hive. The blockchain team uses this term but, in this situation, we are referring to something different.

Here we are focusing upon the combined knowledge and talents that each of us brings to the table. When we combine that, we have our collective Hive Mind. It is what allows us to instantly become a lot smarter simply because we are leveraging the knowledge of other individuals.

What is fantastic is that we can actually "invest" in these people. A prime example is the SEED project put out by @empderat.

Here is a case in point:

We have a few SHO's lined up in the coming days and we will be able to take a chance on all of them (not guaranteed as we have to pass the respective lotteries). Fingers crossed!

I cannot even tell you what a SHO is. However, it appears I am involved with a few. In spite of that, it could work out very well.

Can't wait to see the 'live' figures, and don't want to be making wild predictions, but I'm conservatively expecting profits of around 3000-4000$ on a weekly basis (~150% APY approx). Yes, I know, I said conservatively.

Well if we must suffer through a conservative 150% APY, then so be it. There are worse things in life.

What we see is that by following someone on Hive, we each can benefit. Empoderat's knowledge and trading skills are available to us in this situation. Through the tokenization process, financial gain is possible.

Of course, there is the topic of reputation. On Hive, we have the ability to gauge what that is. In this, I am not referring to the little number next to one's name. Instead, we can focus upon what the individual did on chain, look at the accounts, or see how he or she behaved. Each of us can determine if the individual is trustworthy or not.

As is always the case, one needs to due the proper research with a project like SEED and understand the risks. However, being involved in things that are not put together by totally anonymous figures is of great help.

Leveraging The Entire Ecosystem

We see this at every level of Hive. Anyone who owns the token has a vested interest in what is taking place. This stake is financial and many of us feel will be very beneficial down the road.

Personally, I cannot code a lick. Fortunately, we have those who are developing the base layer, providing blockchain updates every 6 months or so. Each of us has a vested interest in what they are doing. The upgrades they make serve to benefit all of us.

The idea is that, over time, we are all building more value for Hive. Each of us has a part to play, even if we are not developers. Users are required also. Simply getting involved is an "act of ownership". If one owns a business, doesn't he or she show up each day?

What is key is that we are leveraging the skills of thousands of people for overall financial gain. The Hive economy is not just dependent upon a few individuals. There are many involved who make the entire ecosystem much "smarter".

When we consider it, there is really no great mystery. Simply find those who you really respect and follow what they do. It is as if you are partnering with them. There is no need to do it all on your own.

With each passing month, we see more opportunities emerging. New projects are being developed by those who are fully committed to Hive. We also had a NFT drop yesterday from the team @dlux-io. They are in the process of developing a platform that will integrate with many other applications on Hive. This is core infrastructure (layer 2) that is required.

One of the presentations that caught my attention was @yabapmatt. After listening to that, is there anyone who things the run in @splinterlands is over? It is evident there are a many plans for that game. We can truly see how they are just getting started even though they put in 3.5 years already.

Stop Fighting And Get Involved

Many want to attack, fight, and post about all that is wrong with Hive. That is fine, we are not perfect. However, this is an approach that is akin to shooting oneself in the head.

It is best to stop fighting and get involved. Those who are here value loyalty, dedication, and effort. Over time, the people who do that are rewarded.

Perhaps blogging is not one's forte. There are many other options out there. We are seeing the offerings on Hive expand. The key is that each tribe or game requires help. Anyone who is willing to get involved consistently will find a home.

Of course, this has financial advantages. One does not need to show up with a wad of cash (digital). We can compensate for that on Hive through effort.

At the same time, it is best to keep our eyes open. We are continually presented with the chance to leverage the knowledge of others for our personal gain. Through tokenization, we are able to "invest" in these people and benefit from their success.

With Hivefest, we have a point in time to reflect upon. The last year saw a lot of advancement in the ecosystem. All the effort that went in on a daily basis is starting to show up. For those who watch it frequently, even the token price awoke.

The next year will surpass this one. We are starting from a much higher level than a year ago, thus the same effort will result in greater benefit. It is the opportunity for everyone involved in Hive.

Each of us has to decide what we are going to do. However, by diving on, one does gain the ability to leverage the Hive Mind that already exists as well as add to it.

The knowledge of others is available to us if we want to utilize it.
